Sorry for the delay in releasing a new video, I'm going to be making an update video soon here on my main channel. My father is actually in the hospital but he's OK. Be sure to check out my Rob's Phone channel (RU-vid.com/RobsPhone) for some updates I did recently! I also have some updates on Facebook (link in description). Thank you all for the support and you'll definitely see me soon! :-) Thanks
Thanks for sharing this, I used to make these boxes all the time when I was a kid but never knew how to do the lids and since have forgotten how to even make the boxes. Now my daughter and I can make these together.
Rob, this is one of my most favourite videos on Origami. I have made this many times and guess what? I also built this for the love of my life. She kept her keys in the box. As if the keys to her heart belong to me. You became a big part of this sweet story of ours. Keep awesoming 😉
Hi Rob, this is the best and simplest video in making origami box with cover. I will bring this idea everywhere for children. Thank you very much. Keep posting new paper craft ideas.
Rob that was a nice video. Loved it. May I offer a suggestion? I used CARD STOCK. It's thicker so you will need to make box a little wider for the top. The gap you put in the middle? Make it at least 1/4 inch wide and the top will go on great! Also use a bone folder to make your creases. It will save your fingers for sure! Experiment and use coordinating papers and ribbon. The box will be a much sturdier box than regular paper.
Thank u for showing me how to make a box with paper because whenever I go to other videos on how to do this, it's so confusing and they don't even say anything but when I went onto this video, now I know how to make a box thank u Rob!
hi Rob, I just wanted to say, how you describe it tutorials really well, so thumbs up for that, and other tutorials they just don't bother too talk, and people are just like "what???!!!" this box is cute, and easy to make so thanks!! PS: your cat is cute!
this is the only origami video I found where I didn't give up and start crying over frustration so thank you for your video I like how it goes slow and steady so its very good for me because I'm a beginner.
Christian Brusard RU-vidr CyberToons (Jorge Farfan) designed the intro for me. Shh.. but pretty soon I'll have a new one. Check out my Facebook to see! :-)
Just made this box to put a piece of jewelry in for a birthday present. It is so easy and looks great decorated with beads and ribbon, thank you so much.
Just seeing this. I like it because 1) you involved your pet in your craft, and 2) your instructions are clear and a little different than some others I've seen for the same type box. You started with the design side facing up. :-) Thanks!
Oh my goodness I hadn't known it could be s easy to make a box with a lid. Been wanting to try it but felt a bit intimidated. Your video was so easy to follow and I did make my first box. On to make a lot more. Love you little furkid...I have one just like her and her name is Lucy. She sits on the table and watches me. lol Thank you so much and I will be following you.
I have tried many, many different origami box DIY's and all of them included loads of folding and cutting, but this is the best and easiest one! Thanks for the tutorial Rob!!
I did this like 5 times and now I can do it really easily an son good thing about this video is that it's so EASY and everyone in in my hook can do it thanks Rob!
