How to fold a hydrangea flower imbedded in a diagonal clover tessellation. Both designs are from Shuzo Fujimoto. The joining of the two was painstakingly figured out by me. •-•-• Grid: 16x16 square grid 32x32 diagonals
This was my very first attempt at tessellated origami. Both making the grid and the design! It took 10 hours but I did it, thank you so much for posting your design to follow! I love it.
i just got into origami tessellationsand you have a great channel filled with all sorts of patterns! Lovely work and happyfolding :) I had a lot of fun folding this specific model with my friend!!
Here’s a tutorial on square grid folding from EZOrigami: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zquopdQSuuo.html This design needs a 16 division grid with 32 diagonal divisions. Folding diagonal divisions is the same process. It takes a lot of practice to get them really accurate. 👍
Where do you buy your paper? On amazon I can't find standard bicolored kami, or I find it, it's just the full colored one. Where do you get the gradient paper that you use in a lot of your designs?
It is definitely difficult! I have put in a lot of hours practice with tiny grids and it got easier over time. Check out my Instagram for a collection of my tessellations.
