Hell yeah they invited me backstage and we all got wasted until it was time for them to leave. Best birthday I've ever had. Thanks Guys for treating me like royalty that night.
One of the most brutal bands I've had the opportunity to see on stage, they're killers and Mike is a fucking bass machine. But the guy that I really love to see playing is John Longstreth, he is a drum destroyer!!
Florez is such an underestimated bassist. Just watch the way this guy plucks. No pick either. That's badass. I got to celebrate my 30th birthday with these guys at Harpos in Detroit. Best show I've ever seen to date.
They make it look so effortless. Makes you think "Hey, I can do that." Then you pick up your instrument and udder failure is realized. FUCKING AMAZING!
+LHondrums But i am pretty sure that this dude used some kind of device to make his bass sound louder, you can not play that fast and make it sound nearly as good as Dave Lombardos part in AoD
Mike needs to have a Masterclass class about his technique. Im new to Bass and i cant understand how he keeps pace with the blistering dbl bass and Paul's guitar. Amazing
Double stroke technique mate, I used to do it on my Axis pedals, but you have to play about with the settings until they respond just right in order to do it effectively.
at 4:00 it turns out to be really awkward when that dread lock dude keeps staring at Mike and keeps doing moves as if they were long time best friends lol
@@HardKore5250 He was ejected or something, thats pretty much all the info we have on that. Or I dont know about the original, but the big dude who was on every album from the second one onto antithesis.
After sound check the few times i've seen Origin i can really only hear Paul's sound. Mike's play style doesn't really allow for much volume because he has such a fast play style.
Best band, with Entity being my favourite album of all time, a perfect 10, and they are going to play here in Hungary, about 100 kilmeters from my home, this thursday and i have a ticket. (Spoiler: I'll be home watching their live videos here on youtube all night long, because I'm such a lucky guy, that i got some kind of testicle inflammation, 3 day before the gig. FUCK THIS GAY EARTH)
Well...after this introduction to the video,at least we know who ISNT writing lyrics for the band. Since I'm here,I'd like to say that listening to this band without James Lee is a traumatic and disturbing experience. Every time.
@Beholdthesharktopus Apologies; I don't take sarcasm too easily anymore. Also, I HEARTILY agree; that's bullshit. If they drown out my bass, I'd flip shit; respect the rhythm section.
