Hydra also has connection to GIJoe. Back in the early 80's Hasbro wanted to do an action figure line called Fury Force with Nick Fury's son as the head of an elite counter-terrorist organization. Their main enemy would have been Hydra. Hasbro redesigned the line to bring back G.IJoe instead and decided to ditch Hydra as the main enemy. Still liking the snake motif, someone in Hasbro decided to call it Cobra instead.
Im just sayin' . Comparing them, when both are so different and telling one is better than the other is just unecessary to *me* . Especially relating to the initial comment. So take it easy LUL
Yeah I commented about that. In the MCU, Hydra was started for the inhuman Hive, initially to bring him back to Earth from Maveth. Hive is called the Hydra God and even the logo is based on him. That is Hydra’s true origin.
If you do cover the secret war please cover the major highlights how most of us hated the idea of Cap being a sleeper agent or how Falcon Cap is barely the main protagonist but maybe its just me who completely hated the idea of Cap being a Hydra agent all that time killing Jack Kibry and Joe Simon's character
WHAT ABOUT THE REAL HYDRA GOD LIVING ON ANOTHER PLANET WHERE YOU CAN ONLY GO THROUGH BLACK DI'ALLA PORTAL . AND GRANT WARD BECAME LAST HYDRA LEADER ....
Something like that, only they would be the big organization that created the Templar order and possibly even the assassins to menace them with sleeper power to take over should they defeat the order. If it's shady, if it's secret, if it's conspiracies, chances are it's Hydra.
Except not at all because the templar walk around wearing flashy uniforms showing off who they are... hydra is supposed to be hidden right under your nose.. So no
@@________9915 Only in the same "superior" way that chimpanzees predated humanity, where humans split off and became far-far-far superior in every way chimpanzees respect as superior save for their physical things that humans made obsolete. Keep in mind that Hydra is a Marvel thing. As in Marvel Comics. Hydra is the secret society bent on human domination in every Marvel incarnation, ever. Give it all to Marvel Comics, Hydra would probably predate human civilization and force its creation in defiance to its tyranny. Marvel Comics has even hinted at Hydra having roots before the Catholic Church... the organization that actually created the Templars, historically speaking. So, in fictional history rewriting, Hydra wins because it goes back in time far more easily and far more often than the Assassin's Creed Templar's.
Awesome video, and was happy that you explained how Captain America was an evil version of himself and leader of Hydra. And even the cosmic cube was a living being!!!! Love this video :)
You forgot Canada man, Wolverine was even in the Devil's Brigade canonically. AKA the world's first official Spec Ops unit comprised of British and Canadian soliders.
Whether or not you like Secret Empire informs me whether or not you're capable of appreciating good story telling. I loved it, that first hail hydra...chills.
I actually really enjoyed Secret Empire. I thought them bringing back Hulk just for him to die again was a bit silly, but other than that, I liked it. It had some great moments in it. Hydra Cap even had Mjolnir re-written, which is why Hydra Cap could pick it up. As Captain America is my favorite super hero of all time (and I'm a Canadian, go figure) I liked the story a lot.

Variant thank you for all the info you give me every week your the reason I got into comics your one of my favorite you tubers thank you for making my child hood great
I think I was the only one in my comic group that liked the hydra captain America story line. I saw it as a brilliant look into how one little change can turn a good character evil. I remember laughing out loud when I saw end game. My husband looked at me all confused and whispered (he doesn't like marvel but goes to the movies with me because he know I love marvel) wait when did that happen. I quickly explained it was a nod to a comic. He then asked if I had it on my kindle (I do) and if he could read it (he did and he liked it) Hydra has always been a great villain and I hope the mcu brings them back at some point
Can you make a video explaining villain groups such as The Crime Syndicate, Legion of Doom, Court of Owls, Rogues. Just to name a few that would be awesome!
VC. I remember reading in a flashback story about A.I.M., which is a part of Hydra, I think in a Captain America comic, where the Black Panther's father, using a Black Panther customer made from the fur of a real black panther, fought A.I.M., during WW II. Also three characters that weren't created by Lee and Kirby were: The Red Skull whom was created by Joe Simon & Kirby, Spider-man whom was created by Lee & Steve Ditko, Iron Man, whom was created by Lee, Larry Leiber, and Don Heck. And Loki, Thor's arch enemy whom of course came from Norse Mythology. Stan Lee in his book, Bring On The Bad Guys, mentions that he didn't create the Red Skull, he came from the Captain America Comics of the 1940's. And Loki, as with Thor, came from Norse Mythology.😀😄
