This character is, when you think of it, a really powerful enemy of batman, yet he's highly underrated. If they ever bring him as one of the villains in a live action movie, I hope that he doesn't disappoint.

My first encounter with Man-Bat was in Arkham Knight, and it was a HELL of a jumpscare when I first bumped into him.

Noticed he started out with 4 limbs plus wings. Later he had only legs and arm-wings.

I feel like in the Multiverse there would be an alternate version of Man-Bat that calls himself Camazotz. Hell that should be part of the Dark Knights Metal storyline. A version of Bruce Wayne that became Man-Bat kind of like vampire Batman in justice League gods and monsters

I feel kinda bad for Dr. Kirk Langstrom because all he wants to cure himself from deafness and tried to the alternate vampire bats DNA but ends up being a giant bat-like creature. He's not a Batman, he just a victim who trying to cure himself.

If i reimagined Man-bat, i would make Bruce Wayne Man-bat, after his parents died, he didn't become the Batman we know because he didn't find anyone to train him & he saw Gray Ghost get killed by cops because he stopped criminals, so Bruce decided to give himself powers by creating a serum to make him strong, he used bat dna, steroids & meta human dna to do so but it failed and he ended up turning into a bat/human hybrid abomination, afraid of what he became, he got away from his mansion and tries to hide from every, making everyone think he took himself out.

Yea, that's kind of what made me like Man-Bat too. It's been so long that I actually forgot that was the first episode of Batman. But I'll never forget the first episode of X-Men: Night of the Sentinels (which they tried to recreate in the pilot episode of X-Men '97, but they can't beat the original).

Batman 666(Damian Wayne as Batman) turned Man Bat into a CAPE in DC Nuclear Winter He literally WORE one of the scariest Batman villians. That version of Damian is physically a beast,i have pixel measured him at 6'6 compared to other characters next to him(in a picture he was 2 feet above his 10 year old self who was 4'6,taller than Ras,towered over a vision of Nightwing much more than Bruce did) and he is more buff than his old man and has low superhuman strength

His surprise appearance and side mission in Arkham Knight is a real treat.

Man-Bat is a cool villain. I love his portrayal in BTAS and Arkham Knight. I think both of them did justice to the character and made him a bit more interesting. Especially in knight, it’s really hard to watch the scene where (SPOILERS) Batman has to tell Kirk that he killed his own Fiancee when he became Man-Bat.

Even though he's technically not Man-Bat I'm a huge fan of Kurt from the God's and Monsters movie that got vampire powers and became Batman

Sadly enough, Batman could have just bought the chemicals if manbat had stayed after their first encounter and explained what was happening to him. Like most of Batman's supervillains, he refused to ask for help until it was too late.

Kind of bad when Manbat was being more likable than Batman. I mean really dude the guy turned into a bat monster and you cannot let him take his medicine just because it is after business hours? What if the medicine was taken as evidence and Manbat never even got it? And it is such a stupid reason to prolong someone's suffering. He was so desperate to become human again and Batman is just being a d*ck. And then he feels the need to humiliate him in front of his fiance by exposing his identity? It feels more like Batman was the one being the villain.
