What I like about Origin is that the individual riffs, leads and drum work aren’t just amazing, but they come together to create a wall of sound. This sounds like an ultra futuristic space battle. Some might call it random noise, but I think that it’s masterfully composed to sound dark and imposing.
fantastic song, my favorite from Origin. mid section just badass, no argue about that. the guitars, vocals, marvelous groovy drumming. what else you can ask?
@@joshuahjones4065 it's cool to see that a masterpiece such as Unas slayer of the gods is considered one of the ultimate Death Metal songs. Nile is easily my favourite band and I have massive respect for Origin. I love the use of the "Egyptian" scaled and melodies on this track
This song answers the question of "if you were stranded on a desert island and only had one song to listen to for INFINITY, which song would you be stranded with?" Saligia is that song. It's my pride and joy. This song is what makes life worth living for.
What can be said about John Longstreth that hasn't already been said about the nuclear warhead? The man is a force of nature. And watching him play live he makes it look humorously easy.
@@Visen-oh4se you can never know anything. I've discovered Origin way before I've discovered that video. Also who the fuck cares if I copied the comment or not? I'm just expressing how much I love this song.
why did this album disappear from Spotify? Anyone? Such a badass song. I keep coming back to it and it blows me away every time. The combination of brutality and complete mastering of their instruments is unbelievable
@JesseBowles I should have known I'd see you here, haha! Longstrength is most definitely one of THE best and a master behind his kit...I watch so many of his and Origin's videos. Amazing band.
If you have not to date, see this band live, it'll fuck your head up to see four individuals, all giftedly doing their own thing, in perfected, brutally precise, and technically,.........WELL FUCKIN LISTEN TO IT MAN!!!!! Hail Space!!!!
HIGH TECHNOLOGY may i know what is the study of you "high technology" also known as hightech kuno? who is your parents? i will give you just a piece of my biggest point of view for the information about your father. i warn you try not to lead your own. GRAVITY RELEASE inside the earth then lead everybody through the sun with all those liars i want you to break the pain for me!
Excellent material for REAL test of High-End systems! If you don't hear all the myriad of nuances with sonic dynamics and powerful delivery, your audio-system is utter shit.
If they wrote songs on this level consistently they would be so much more succesful. Its almost a shame when you compare this song to their other fare. Its like every album they put out has 2-3 REALLY good songs and the rest is half baked filler. Keyser is fucking on point considering what he works with since joining.

Giorgio Caio e Sempronio That it what bothers me, why scooping and compressing all that sound? That makes it sound too digital and harder to hear. Many metalcore and deathcore bands do that for like 8-10 years.
ff7soldierff7 the guitars were compressed (not a lot, they're just scooped) because drums are not. For this reason, drums sound awesome, but guitars are left in the background. If I was the producer of this record, I would have tracked the guitars with more mids.
Giorgio Caio e Sempronio I would even doube track the guitars for a fatter sound (or if that is too hard for the artist I would just copy the guitar track) and I would pan everything a bit so that it creates a full and roomy sound.
ff7soldierff7 That could be a nice idea too. But I like the idea that they only compressed the guitars and not the drums, saying a big "Fuck You" to the loudness war.
