Thanks for the tips and advice. I need to build the cheapest fixed wing I can build. I think this is it. Looks like it don't get much simpler than this. Any idea where I can find the plans for this? Believe me, I looked very hard before asking. All I can find is some old pencil sketches I can barely read. The rest of the official website is completely useless. No plans available to buy. No one to contact in hopes of just calling someone and ordering it directly. Nothing. Would like to build something like this before I get too old. Time is short. Thanks.
Also; be careful building "Cheap" it may be wise to look at a Ron Sandlin G.O.A.T. Glider or the classic "Primary Glider". The Primary glider plans are available in a 1930's magazine "Aircraft Flying and Gliding manual" Reprints are available from Aircraft Spruce. Also, there is the Bob Harlan Derierre (sic) Glider... The Derrierre is essentially a fixed wing "Batso" bi-plane. Usually plans can be had on Ebay for a few Dollars/Pounds/Shiny Beads :)
