Fun fact, the first draft was physically impossible to play on trombone because the composer was tired of the trombone players constantly ribbing him for giving them easy parts. All in good fun of course, they had a good laugh in the recording studio that day.

I come from Poland, and the story of Hanna Barbara has always fascinated me. In the 1970s, the communist authorities, as part of their policy of relaxation, allowed HB animation to be dubbed and shown on public television. My generation was raised on the Cartoon Network channel. Jonny Quest, for me, is a legendary animation, and this soundtrack is phenomenal! If you like the subject matter, I recommend a brilliant documentary on RU-vid about the history of the Jonny Quest series. You can find it easily. Over two hours of phenomenal production that should get an award.

I did not grow up in the 60s but Jonny Quest animation and character design was impressive to be a saturday morning cartoon.

Absolutely classic! I remember watching this as a little kid in the late 60s and early 70s. I have no doubt that this theme is a big part of why I became a huge jazz fan.

Good Job ! 👍👍 My favorite cartoon of all time ! I've read recently that the cartoon was hard to make because of cost. I believe it only went for two seasons. I bought the DVD set for my kids growing up and they loved it also.
