ORIGINAL Jurassic Park: The Ride - Universal Studios Hollywood - Full Front POV 

I waited in line for probably 2+ hours in 1997 with my family in the height of the summer heat. All the effect worked perfectly including the car drop (never saw it work again). Scared me half to death as a 5th grader. Afterwards I begged my mom to buy me the "I survived Jurassic park THE RIDE" t-shirt. I wore it to school the next Monday and all my friends were jealous "Nuh uh you didnt ride it" Shirt begs to differ my guy ;)

It’s kind of a nice touch that at the beginning, you can see the boat of the people who boarded in front of you, but then later it has the wrecked one and you don’t see the people who were ahead of you until the ride is over.

That drop is a whole lot bigger when you're on the ride

I clearly remember that countdown before the drop. It felt like I went down a million miles. What a great ride.

When i rode, i immediately thought "oh fuck no no no no no no" when the conveyor belt went up.

It's way scarier at night because it's so dark it just pops out at u

Went to universal studios a couple days ago and saw that the ride changed. I hadn’t been to the theme park since I was a kid. It was nice to relive part of my childhood with this video.

Back in 2009 my little sis and I rode this like 10 times in a row cause it was almost closing time and hardly anybody was there. Kinda scary riding it at night and with just us two and maybe a few others. But awesome!! I miss this ride but looking forward to the new one!

brought my grandma on this thinking it was a somewhat chill ride. i was wrong lol. ended up absolutely soaked and scared for our lives haha

From experience, I can assure you that this ride is terrifying, and the drop is steeper than it looks..

That drop is way scarier when you're on it, but it's so worth it. 😂

i went on this ride with my dad and sister, and it was SO much fun! i remember the tiny drop before the end, and being like ''oh, that wasn't so bad!'' and then almost flying out when the real drop happened. my other favorite ride was the Simpsons one.

Came back to watch this video to remember my childhood. The new redesign is shit compared to this one. I'll never forget this ride, it was my first ride as a kid. I was 7 years old and my aunt made me sit on it at night, and I was absolutely terrified but excited because I had all the Jurassic Parks on VHS. The drop felt like a free fall when I was a kid, but then when I grew up, my friends used to act like we were asleep for the photo. It was one of the most iconic rides for me, and I'll never get to ride it the same way again. R.I.P. Jurassic Park

This Jurassic Park ride is way more cooler than the new one, because this brings back wonderful memories going to universal when I was 3 years old, but I'm really really sad that everything has changed there.

*This was the only ride that I was brave enough to actually ride with my eyes open-*

The drop is much much bigger on the ride, and you can feel it in your stomach!

I went on the NEW version of this ride in the Hollywood universal studios. I loved it. I was really fun.

Man, being in there with the two crazed raptors and Rexy (the t-rex) is waaay scarier than anything in the whole ride.

This ride was amazing! I rode it with my cousin back in 2009, he was sitting in a spot where he just got completely soaked at the end, he really regretted riding this ride, lmfao! Good times!

When I was a kid, I went on this ride and every time we got to the end with the T-Rex and the big drop, it always kind of freaked me out. However, after riding it several times, I once noticed a small toy pumpkin sitting on a ledge near the T-Rex head. I stopped and just thought “how the hell did they get that there and who p-“ and then I dropped 😂

They have modified the ride. Because the ride had oh shit type things happening. Like the car fell, things would randomly jump out the water and spray stuff to the point where you would watch your back lol

I loved this ride

I just went on this ride for the very first time today, and this is a look on the old version which I never got to go on, pretty amazing!

Ive been looking for the dino that pops up fron the water at 4:19 for so long xD Ive never been on this but sad i never got a chance. At least its documented.
