I've watched Jack Blocker's audition probably 25+ times now. I still do not understand how Lionel Richie voted no after saying "you're such an artist. We know you're competition, and that's what we're here for." He literally practically said yes with that statement and then still proceeded to say no.

I loved Jack Blocker's audition, delivery, attitude and all. He is one of the most gifted people that ever sang in front of those judges. For one second he did not try to influence the judges to let him go through...I hate when they are begging and promising that they will work hard...that is not sign of how much they want it, for me it is the sign of the bad character. Similar to those dumb kids in school that were begging teachers for a better grade.
