No, he did not "beat" the game. He only got to the killscreen. Plus, some other guy might of got to the killscreen in the 80s-90s but because there was no internet, nobody heard about it.
@@MegaGameBeast_YT No, just no. Reaching that kill screen took invention of entirely new techniques to even play past the final speed increase. And by then significant Tetris accomplishments were being tracked.
@Zee' r/woooosh, as this, my friend is what humans call: a joke. It is used to express humor, and when/if you reply, don't say that you were also joking, as you clearly weren't, and if you were, you still weren't
@@Chris14_ Fortnite is overrated too, but it's nothing compared to MC, if you say something bad about the game, the reddit intellectuals will come to crucify you.
@@just_another_internet_man755 omg you disagreed with my opinion?? omg you broke the law!!!! Now we should start acting smart and bullying you because you have a different opinion
@@waveyboi4059 you serious? Between the walls there was a gearbox. And in the 1989 the gearbox was suddenly opened so Germans could go from east to west. Because of concrete in the structure this building is not destroyed yet
This was the only game my mother ever played. She hated video games but was addicted to Tetris. I'm convinced it's only because she knew it was a Russian game, and she loved Russia since they created Vodka, her favourite.
I think everyone has played tetris at some point of their life. Edit: I get that everyone hasn't played Tetris. Replying the same thing over and over gets annoying.
+Speltok Please correct your spelling a little, so people will notice instantly you are bullshitting and don't have to wonder what you are trying to express first. Or I'll just try to translate, allthough I am not sure about ERRMAHGERD "Tetris cloned Minecraft; I fucking hate Tetris"
Speltok Nah, being an English tutor from Germany I have seen worse, I would just like to know what the first word was supposed to sound like. May be you are appealing to GERD, which is a really trivial German first name xD. Actually my neighbour is called Gerd but I guess he is not YAHGERD.
Just if you're wondering, the Tetris theme is actually a real Russian song called "Korobeiniki". _The song "Korobeiniki" is based on a poem of the same name by Nikolay Nekrasov, which was first printed in the Sovremennik magazine in 1861. Its increasing tempo and the associated dance style led to it quickly becoming a popular Russian folk song._ _Korobeiniki were peddlers with trays, who sold fabric, haberdashery, books and other small items in pre-revolutionary Russia. Nekrasov's much longer poem tells the story of a young peddler who seduces a peasant girl named Katya one night in a field of rye. He offers her some of his wares as gifts in exchange for a kiss and, as it is implied, sexual favours._ Source: Wikipedia
Tardar Sauce My parents lived under communism and it was the happiest time of their lives. I like that those who didn't live there speak badly about communism. (But seriously, I don't care about communism or capitalism. In Russia, systems and ideologies collapse every 50 years, nothing works for us)
OmegaWard In Soviet Union. Turned out the guy screwed himself up, he couldn't get the money of the game because of the Communism :( Imagine Tetris of today.
You mean people who were born at a later date than you? You call people who don't appreciate an old videogame "spoiled shits" Stop taking yourself so seriously, grow up.
***** You called people who disliked the video "spoiled shits who didn't grow up playing this masterpiece", I know this is targeting people who disliked it, because it was a respond to the question "Who the fuck dislikes that masterpiece"
My brother died last month from cancer. It was a hard time for my family. He gave up with chemo because he wasn't enjoying the time he had left, and that was more important to him than prolonging his agony. He was a good man and brother, and he'll be missed. A few weeks before he died, my mom tearfully asked him if he had any requests for when he passed on. He said he had just one. He didn't want music to be played during the service. Only during the lowering of the coffin lid. He gave my mom a CD, and made her promise not to play it until when she asked. He made me promise too. The funeral was very emotional, I still feel awful thinking about it. My mom brought a small portable CD player to play his chosen song as the coffin lid started to lower and we all tearfully gathered round. She clicked play. And on came this song.
@CodeName F1am3 it's brazilian portuguese, I talked like this because this guy is brazilian too, so don't come here offending other people just because they talk in other language, pls
I am the man who arranges the blocks that descend upon me from up above They come down and I spin them around, 'til they fit in the ground like hand in glove Sometimes it seems that to move blocks is fine, and the lines will be formed as they fall Then I see that I have misjudged it! I should not have nudged it after all Can I have a long one, please? Why must these infernal blocks tease?
