@@jordancardi3820 Effectivement, j'aurais dû dire "germaniques" mais c'était bien pour faire la différence avec l'occupation néerlandaise de 1815 à 1830. Seule une partie des Flandres a été française de 900 à 1477. Il faut donc remonter à 899 pour retrouver la Wallonie "française", mais difficile à cette époque de catégoriser les Francs comme une nation française. On peut aussi remonter à l'époque gauloise mais il faut ne pas avoir de culture historique pour affirmer que les gaulois étaient strictement des ancêtres français. Je maintiens mon affirmation : la Wallonie a été principalement sous domination du Saint-Empire romain germanique.

@@fideIion does that matter? There are towns along the Mexican border where more people speak Spanish than English but that does not mean those towns can leave the US and join Mexico. If that was the case London would become part of India anytime soon
@@CuracaoRevisited You are perfectly right. What we can add is that Brussels was a flemish city before. French speakers migrated there and largely frenchified it. Now we can't consider brussels as a dutch speaking city or a town of flemish culture exept for its historical aspects.
@@fideIion Brussels is the capital of flanders while Namur is the capital of Wallonia. London is the capital of the uk while in the future it looks like the majority of people are from Asia. That does not imply that London would become part of India. Brussels should continue the integration of French speakers of which many don’t speak either Dutch or English and become unemployed or drug addicts and ensure these immigrants integrate in Flemish culture and learn the Dutch language
