In early May 2013, after 56 days of incubation and 30 years with no hatch, little Orion made it to the other side of its egg's shell. This video, part 1, is showing the parents' behaviour on the hatching egg 2 days before Orion is fully out.
Orion and her parents are Eurasian Black Vultures, Europe's largest bird of prey and a species of global conservation concern.
