Thanks again Winters, always love coming down to play you! For those interested in more pics, you can find me in the usual places: my tag is the same as here but with an underscore in the middle.
I think my favourite thing about the channel is the attention to detail on the scenery. Adds so much to these games. I can’t tell you the amount of times I’ve played on tournament style terrain made of plywood and completely unpainted and it’s just been miserable.
An Ambull! It's like Billy Murray, you always think you'll never see him again and then boom! He shows up and steals the show. He's also super-friendly so obviously he can ally with anyone 😇
"Utøy" does mean 'vermin', though in the sense of parasitic bugs - primarily lice and fleas - rather than rodents. The etymology is rather interesting.
Thank you, I lived in Oslo for a couple of years and used my old dictionary to look that up, but meanings can be somewhat misleading sometimes. I reckon lice/fleas is close enough for me!
those O.G Genestealers in Spacehulk aound 89/90 were the start of it all for me, seeing those bad boys, then seeing the Termies they were up against. . .like catnip to a teenage lad!! So good to see them in such fine form on a Winters stream! the joy!
Absolutely agree, I remember seeing the cover of a friends’s White Dwarf 113 several months before I got into the hobby and being bowled over by how cool it looked
@@WoffbootPootleI absolutely love that they’re the more vibrant blue scheme that they were back then too, I think they went a bit darker eventually, but I remember the blue and purple being quite vivid, it’s such an iconic combo in 40k, awesome job!!
Another great battle report Winter! Very fun to watch, both armies look great. Just a couple of tiny rule mistakes that I think mattered quite a bit: 1) rapid Regen is in the fight phase, tank shock is in the charge phase. The carnifex that survived on 1 should be dead, and that probably would've saved the big ork tank for one more turn 2) I'm not sure I saw it right, but I think the tyrannifex overwatched while in combat? You can't do that, it's in one of the dataslates/FAQs or whatever they put out recently
