You get a whole lot more out of a role like this than money, you should never complain about it not paying enough; when it could lead to way more roles!
@@ivannson yes, but there are actors who left a good role, because they wanted more money, not realizing that the role itself leads to more money. I'm just pointing out Orlando made the right choice, even though that's a relatively small amount for that role, I know he wasn't complaining

legolaz, yess but he did also just come out of acting/drama school, and he didnt have any status, so it could have been a bad casting role for him, as they didnt know who he was
Yeah, but he didn‘t play a supporting role He got paid less because he was not famous That’s also why Gandalf got 4 times more than Aragorn, even though he played a role that would be considered less central than Aragorn
He played a fringe character who served only to lighten the mood and as a segue into expositional rants. You know he wasn’t important because he only spoke directly to Frodo once during the entire trilogy
@@iplaywhatiwant3738 that doesn't have anything to do with what I said. If an actor makes one movie they do not deserve a million dollars. If someone makes a product, that person does not deserve a million dollars. The sale of a product is different than the ones who made it.
