In today’s vlog we head to the Orlando Museum of Art for the Art In Bloom fine art festival! This festival features admission to the Orlando Art Museum where you can explore the fine art and the interpretive floral displays and botanical designs that are inspired by the art. It was a really cool idea and we had so much fun checking out all of the art and flowers! We also saw some of the antique dealers, pop up shops, musicians and more! We highly recommend checking this event out next year and the Orlando Museum of Art! We will be back for sure! We hope you enjoyed hanging out with us today! My dad who is a retired Orlando firefighter is a volunteer at the fire museum! I would love to set up a private tour for you guys. He is a wealth of knowledge to Orlando fire history.

I work in a museum with many Chihuly pieces. Chihuly has his own team that cleans the glass with white glove treatment. No one else is allowed to touch. Each piece is taken off, cleaned and replaced. Usually takes about a week or more for each piece.

Watched them clean the Chihuly sculpture at the Children’s Museum in Indianapolis--they used a Swiffer Duster!!!!

There is actually a competition series on HBOMAX called “full bloom” where they have to build floral arrangements to match paintings and ideas. It’s a great show

The part where the video is scrolling up and down the bright stripy painting with the piano playing in the background really makes me think of when they used to focus on the painting in Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood right before going on a trip to a new location.

Hey I work at the Orlando Science Center and that little wooden building in between the Orlando Science Center and Orlando Shakes is a tiny house! It’s open for you to explore with an extra ticket from the science center! I highly recommend it.

AD is commonly mistaken to stand for after death, but it actually stands for anno domini, Latin for “in the year of the lord,” and refers specifically to the birth of Jesus Christ. "B.C." stands for "before Christ.

Awesome to show some of the cultural things in Orlando! We always love hitting the parks, but as a painter I always want to end the trip seeing some art and I always drag the family along. We also have seen some great plays at the Philips center near downtown

If you like to go to Art Museums, should make a trip to the Salvador Dali museum in St. Petersburg. They have giant sculpture of his famous mustache for a fun photo op. Also you can see some of the original drawings for the film Destino that the hotel is base on. I can't wait to go again myself ^_^

AD stands for Anno Domini (Latin for "In the year of the Lord"), not "After Death". Love the channel, and loved seeing all of the beautiful art and floral arrangements!

So glad you are taking Jackson to this kind of thing. I was a single mom so every where I went, my son went. As a result, he is just as comfortable in a museum as he is at a football game. We go to the Atlanta MoA all the time. Bonus, they have a cute little cafe there.

I love Chihuly's work, and Jenn - I always wonder the same thing about cleaning stuff when I see stuff like this - GMTA! :) Some cool, and beautiful, works of art, and love the floral interpretations - how cool! Love that geo-location/Twitter artist, that is SO cool!!! Have no idea why, but that "pink sculpture" reminded me of the ballroom scene in the Haunted Mansion. LOL I love watching harpists play, and actually wanted to be one when I was a little kid. That candle lady (yes, I remember her!), and that story with the candle line, is so cool, and her holders are gorgeous!! Love the orchids. Love theme parks, but DEFINITELY love seeing things outside of them - SO many theme parks vloggers, but seeing other stuff is nice, and different!! Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey! Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!!

This is wonderful! So glad you are doing these videos for folks to see more of Orlando! Great job! I was also there as well, I happen to be the one playing the piano!! 😆 So much to see there and you attention to the details is intriguing! When Jackson is older, like 7 or 8 you have to come up to Washington DC where I live and go to the Smithsonian! It is fabulous and free! Many museums all on the Washington Mall in between the Capital and the Washington Monument. :)
