Living With Ericka it really is tbh. Every city has its ghettos but theirs pros and cons to everything. Orlando's night life though will make you not even want to ride down south if you're just in FL to party. We party just as hard in central FL and got amazing beaches too.

I’m German and used to work and live in Orlando for almost a year. One night me and a couple of friends took an Uber to go see the Magics at Amway Center. Not like the several other times we went out to downtown Orlando the driver left the I4 earlier and drove us through this area, which is supposed to be Parramore I think, south-western of Amway Center. I literally felt like I’m in GTA..several people on the streets drinking & partying, crossing our way with their bikes, checking out our vehicle and stuff like that..as a white European who had never experienced this atmosphere before I would’ve never gotten out of the car in that area..it was quite impressing though..hella good times in Orlando, all the best for you guys down there
Yeah thats parramore. I drive through there on my way to work every morning cause i work at the airport on the east side of downtown. But live on the west side. Anyways Everytime i drive through there i have to lock my damn doors cause one time a tweaker tried to hop in my fucking car 🤣
There’s plenty of “white European” areas in Europe that are much more poverty stricken and dangerous than Orlando. Probably would have been more accurate if you said as a German. There’s neighborhoods in Eastern Europe, the Balkans, and Southern Europe which have levels of danger and poverty that make Parramore look better.

@@petarnik5133 Serbia isn’t the only country in Eastern Europe, and just like the point I made above, there are areas in Serbia that have very high poverty levels that rival if not surpass Parramore in Orlando. Also it should be noted that Serbia has huge amounts of organized crime that you don’t see in a place like Orlando.

Yeah, if coming to Orlando and going outside of the tourist areas, ask cops where not to go or a local. Both are more than willing to tell you. Sometimes though, you will have a blast in some hoods just kicking it, drinking and laughing. Other times, they may just rob you. It's a roll of the dice

Shout out to Pine Hills where I live. Beginning was definitely parramore. It really is like that in the hills, I’m not tough at all but the house next to mine dude choked his woman out and set the house on fire then left and came back later and shot it out with the police. Crime scene tape on my mailbox blocking our driveway while they searched for shells. Was so close I didn’t know what was going on at first had to cut the lights and grip the home defense tool. Backup pulled up in my front yard with the combat shotties and assault rifles. Definitely a memorable evening.
When i watch these Videos and see these Streets I wonder about the ppl that lived there,what their stories were,their suffering,the Ppl they loved,their Dreams and Fears and what Events took place there. Everyone deserves a good Life

I live just south of Parramore neighborhood and it’s kinda scary feeling /hoody feeling but there are some nice houses in the area and residents just lower middle class or poor for the most part just trying to live peaceful lives. I’m talking about 24th/Parramore area
All those grown people from 2:45 to 2:58 hanging in the street at night really breaks my heart. They should be using that same energy to go to school, work a job, learn how to prepare business plans or even start their own RU-vid Channel (seriously). What a waste of life when so many people are in the hospitals fighting to stay alive.....some of my race/people are hanging in the streets all hours of the day with no real focus. A person once told me "some people who live in the hood or in poverty see absolutely nothing wrong with the way that they live so don't worry because they are not worried."

You can clearly see that there is some sort of celebration at the house on the right. You know absolutely nothing about any one of them by watching 13 seconds of video but you quickly assume that no one here goes to school, has a job or know business simply because they are enjoying themselves in a certain neighborhood. This is part of the problem.

I remember Parramore before they built the stadium. Never felt uncomfortable walking through there, and some genuinely nice people there. One person even let me use his bathroom as I was walking towards downtown. I also used to buy crack from there.
I personally lived in Orlando heights so I know that area and it's like living in any other place. I mean it depends how you behave And hang out with. Since south Orlando it's a hot spot For Heavy drugs, and night life
This drive mainly around Parramore, Westmoreland. Near downtown. Them apartments at the end "The Palms" off Mercy Drive. I lived walking distance from them apartments.

Any advice for accidentally lost white folks? Are we not welcome in these areas? Should we be afraid? I used to work in Saint Louis and there were some rough parts of that city. One time I was a little tipsy and wanted to keep drinking at home after bars closed so I went to the only 24 hour liquor store in the metro area, and I was probably a little out of my league. I just minded my own business and I was fine.

Poor people killing each other over petty shit just doesn’t matter too much in the grand scheme of things , that’s just how it is . There is one Florida town that has quite a bit of violent crime that the news really doesn’t report on and thats St. Augustine , FL . They’re a smaller city with an economy that is almost 100% based on tourism and they have to keep the riff raff covered up for economic reasons .
The local news - Orlando Sentinel, in particularly - covers pretty much every single shooting that happens in all these areas. Every single day and every single night, there’s a fatality in these hoods. And every single day they report on who who arrested for shooting who.
The difference from cities in Florida and cities everywhere else is Florida has bad everywhere. I grew up on the east side of Orlando in the burbs and shit was pretty bad. Not terrible but shit went down! I moved to the burbs in Atlanta and it was so safe. Most cities have their designated hoods but Florida is hood everywhere except for the rural areas

However......you come through one of those hoods on some extra shit....the mood will change in a heartbeat and you will see so many fireworks you will think you in Magic Kingdom. Just be humble. Respectful. And you can kick it in just about any hood in Orlando. Don’t get too comfortable though if you ain’t from round there.
