Orlando Pre Cruise: How to get to Port Canaveral explores the Hampton Inn and Suites near the Orlando Airport for a Pre Cruise Hotel stay the night before our MSC MERAVIGLIA cruise from Port Canaveral.
I opted to stay at an Orlando Pre Cruise Hotel because it had airport transportation to and from the Orlando Airport and made catching my ride share with Airport Canaveral shuttle service a breeze.

As of this video it is $16 one way per person.
This Hampton Inn and Suites has many guests opting to park and ride to the port with another bus service that is popular.....goport. MSC had no transportation to the port from the airport, but maybe that is what the cruises from Port Canaveral do. It is easier to just hop a ride share or bus on your own.
The Orlando Pre Cruise Hotel, the Hampton Inn and Suites is a perfect location for food, sundries etc. The breakfast was buffet style with make -your-own-waffles.

I plan to book this hotel before my RCI cruise in December and do GoPort to the terminal. Good to see stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Very helpful video!

@@BonVoyageCruiseTravel Update: I stayed in this hotel for my December 2022 cruise. I enjoyed staying there and walked to Longhorn Steakhouse from there for dinner. My only complaint was my room did not have a microwave for my dinner leftovers. I've never stayed in a hotel room without a microwave before. I caught the GoPort bus to the port, so that was nice.

@4:20 That’s hot pepper sauce. It’s basically canned (pickled) peppers in vinegar. We put it on collard greens and cabbage mostly.

Thanks for the informative video. We normally drive down from the Midwest when cruising out of Port Canaveral, but this time as empty nesters we are flying in and I’ve been researching different options of transportation to the port and also debating whether or not to fly in the day before. Good to know about the different eating options in the area.

Yes I picked that area since I wasn’t interested in theme parks and I didn’t want a rental car. Free shuttle service from the airport was a must! Empty nester here too! Good luck!😊. Thanks for watching!

With 4 of us, we're thinking of renting a car and staying closer to the cruiseport. It will cost more than the shuttle, but we can explore some.

The port is near beaches and Cape Canaveral. That makes sense to rent a car, just make sure you can turn it in around there because it’s about 45 min from the airport! Thanks for watching! 🌴

@BonVoyageCruiseTravel I've checked on one-way rentals from the airport to the cruiseport. It's pricey, but I think less than $50 more than 4 transfers from the airport.

Hilton was a perfect place to launch for cruising! Cracker Barrell rules! Airport Canaveral Shuttle rules! Reserve that van and check for markings! Bon Voyage!

I know there are many options in Orlando. I wasn’t interested in any theme parks or expensive hotels for one night. This worked perfect. Uber is over $100 ow!

I believe it’s for all ships out of Port Canaveral. Our ship was right next to the Disney Cruises. Maybe ask them via their website? Thanks for watching! ☀️🚢

Does the hotel offer a shuttle to the port?

The shuttle is not free, but you can take a ride share from the airport or do the go port bus, that does leave from there. These would be an additional cost. Check with the front desk for Go Port prices. The ride share I have in my description. Thanks for watching and good luck! It is about a 30 -40 drive.
