I disagree with you on this mosque land issue, if Oba Ghandi's intention is without any prejudice, he would have called for Muslim community leadership meeting before taken the action of shops construction on the land. The Oba is absolutely WRONG, the land belongs to the Muslim community and he has no right to trespass on it. Moreover why did Oba Ghandi not go to the Baptist Seminary land and build shops there through a third party? If indeed Oba means well for development of the mosque and the surrounding market, he should have made his intention clear at a townhall meeting with all stakeholders first before any action. He shouldn't also have gone through a third party in taking building materials to the land.
It seems you don't know about the land in ogbomosho mosque, it was a space that belongs to the forefathers of the king and a part was given to the Muslim to build mosque then. It was part of the palace land the Muslim didn't buy the land then. How can they be claiming everything now ? Even the former king that was a Muslim had plan to build the shops then and was stopped so it's not Muslim land, and you're talking about Baptist Church land . Well the Baptist bought their land and has all documents. Don't be biased, the space was a gift to the Muslim community then so everything surrounding it belongs to the palace and can be used for anything that will develop that area. Muslim and wahala 5/6
I don't understand how you people reason? If Oba Ghandi eventually decided to do such at baptist seminary land it's you guys that will start crying that he's doing such for Ogbomoso Christians because he's Christians. That's the reasons Ogbomoso still like that up till today.
@@Eniiyi. the land was a gift for the mosque building to Muslims community which is an ancient practice in all Yoruba villages/towns. Moreover you should know that based on historical records on how the first Sohun came to Ogbomosho, the family are not land owners. The rightful monarch land owners in Ogbomosho are: Oba Ounpetus, the Ijerus, the Olugbons, the Ikoyis and other great Ogbomosho family first settlers. So in this case Oba Shoun is not Onilu because their ancestors are not Omo-onile/Onilu of Ogbomosho.
@@brightay0078 yes you can't understand because you don't understand. Now did Oba Ghandi had a meeting with the Muslim community leadership before he gave the land for shops to a third party? Being an Oba in today's world doesn't mean you have absolute power to take decisions as you wish. The title "Kabiyesi" belongs in the dark ages, no Oba is Kabio-kosi except Almighty God. An Oba in today's world could be arrested, charged, tried and jailed if he goes against the laws of the country.
She ibeyen nikan ni ile wa ni. Alabosi ni babayi. Atenuje otiba tie je. Ahu lahabi of ogbomosho. The land is part of central Masjid and it does not make any sense to build the market to reduce the land size of the Mosque. For Muslim expansion in the future it is a must for the Soun to look else well. As a king there are many places. The provocations of Soun is not today. So baba oni sango shut up and go and return to your sender
What development has your abandoned land or mosque brought to the town, Ojagbo market is not sharing land with central mosque at all, you Muslim has always be the enemy of progress in Yoruba land and you cannot offer any good things only to destroy.May God open your eyes.
@@greatvision29abi ooo very stubborn people that are against the development of our land. The mosque land was a gift to them they didn't pay for it and now claiming everything surrounding the mosque
