The Town of Oro Valley commemorated September 11 with the inaugural flag raising at the Oro Valley Community & Recreation Center's new flag pole.
The American Legion Auxiliary Oro Valley Unit 132 accepted retired flags, collected by the Oro Valley Police Department, and will handle their disposal.
