Ororo dual controlled heated jacket.
I thought this jacket was a bit of a gimmick but it does have it's place for some people, personally I don't think you can beat a down jacket but lots of people swear by these heated jackets.
This is the Ororo dual controlled heated jacket. 5 carbon fibre heating elements, covering both arms, chest and back.
The two heating systems can be turned on and off independently, as well as set to different heating levels, allowing full control based on your needs.
A fully charged Mini 5k battery provides the arm heating system up to 20 hours of working hours. Water-resistant coated shell provides protection from light rain and snow while the removable hood with adjustable drawstrings keeps the wind out for those breezy days.

Thanks for the no BS, unbiased, detailed review. Im intrigued by the jacket but as someone who works outside and lives in MN, i didnt know if it would be worth it over extra layers.

I would say layers but some people love them. Remember if you’re using the jacket on high you’ve only got 2hrs of hattery

Gimmick, it does keep you a little warm in mildly cold temps, like 30 to 35 degrees, but if it really cold, like 0 out, it does very little to keep you warm. I just bought one about a month ago and it does not get hot enough, or have enough heating coils to do the job. The whole jacket needs to be lined with them, and they need to get hotter. In real cold weather you can barely even tell they are on, I would not tell anyone to buy one, and I will never buy another one, unless they add way more heating coils, and they get hotter.

eh i like there products.. was watching this only to check out there jackets. I have there heated hoodie and rock that under a down jacket and work outside during thr winters clearing a car lot filled with snow. shit keeps me toasty as fuck. also my down jacket isn't a joke eather lol. but layering the 2 is solid. might pull the trigger on a jacket cause my down is getting old and beat up

@@batmon26 I have been wearing my jacket all winter, I just had it on to go out and start my truck to let it warm up for a few minutes. And like I said, it does keep you a little warm, if it not under 0 degrees. When it is 0 or lower, you can barely even tell the heated coils in it are on. There are not enough of them, they are only in the upper back, and in the front in the upper chest area. They need to have more heated coils in them, in the lower back, and lower in the front by the pockets, and in the arms. It's a good idea, and it works ok if it is just mildly cold out, say 25 to 35 degrees, but on cold days when it is 0 to -10 below it is almost worthless. I have worn it about 20 times in the last 6 weeks, and I am in Illinois, and these are facts.

i have the vest. it's sort of good but not great. i only feel the warmth on my back when i am pressing against something, like my car seat or a bench outdoors. but when i'm walking, there's a small gap, and the back of the vest is not in physical contact with my back, so i'm not getting that heat. the front is slightly better and provides a little more warmth. i bought it in my size. maybe i should have bought it one size smaller. when it's cold, i just wear my regular down jacket instead, which keeps me warmer than this. thumbs down on this.
