1957 when construction started I was still crawling . When the spill way broke down that bedrock underneath had not seen sunlight for 50+yrs . They fenced off any easy access while rebuilding… Lol Just wunder’n How many times did you try ??? Nice update Jeff 😎
none there's no Gold or mines on that hillside. now in the river that was another story but buried under a ton of dirt. all the storys of Gold being found came from people who were selling stuff Isn't that funny . LOL
Glad you enjoyed it, I wish I had video of it in 1986 me and my Dad went up there and they were releasing so much water it was moving the hillside a crossed the road !!!! now they have gates when they crank it open

typical. California has the largest allotment of water from the Colorado river. Four other sates plus California will be calling for water restrictions this summer. California refuses to build new reservoirs to store water for use in dry season.
