THE CUTEST face, or in turn THE MOST CUTE face (usually used for LONG adjectives ).... Using TWO superlative forms doesn't make it better... It's just bad grammar!!!!!
Sometimes it's hard to repress years of "that animal is a pest that endangers wildlife" and acknowledge that it's a native and vital part of other ecosystems. So Bondi Vet being an Australian show, the Aussie viewers may not grasp that foxes are beautiful and important in English forests, because here they're a threat to so many bush creatures.
@@stellaluuk2713 Yes foxes are an introduced species in Australia but this little baby was found in the UK where they are a native species. Hopefully little Zorro has a nice long life in the wild and not some hunter's sport.
@@schaynegeorge4793 That's pretty much what I said to another commenter. Yes they are introduced to Australia by idiotic humans wanting to hunt them for sport, but that isn't the foxes fault. I just hope the little guy has a nice long life in the UK wild and doesn't end up on the business end of some heartless hunter's gun.
Oh my goodness… Zorro is beautiful! Foxes are stunning. Best kept in the wild as all wild animals whenever possible! HOWEVER…I WANT TO BOOP ZORROS NOSE!
That fox is so cute. People here in the USA don't like wolves. Neither country seems to understand that if we didn't have both fixes and wolves RATS, RABBITS, and other rodents would over run us! They are EXTREMELY important for the stability of the echosystem.
I saw a study they did on what would happen w/o wolves. The deer overpopulated, they ate all the plants, the soil eroded, rivers changed course... I can't remember what all, but the ramifications were far-reaching & in some cases, unexpected... Really gave a lot to think about...
There have been times that wolves have been a problem for cattle and sheep ranchers. Otherwise, I don't think people have problems with them. I had a neighbor who had a wolf and he was a kind, lone animal. He would stay near our two houses. I saw him when there were thunderstorms and they weren't home. He's come inside my front door and lay quietly in the entry until the storm was over then go out to stay on the porch until his family was home. He was a lovely animal that was majestic, loyan, and demanded respect.
This is super misleading - foxes are everywhere in neighbourhoods and cities in the UK. A more comparable animal situation would by coyotes not wolves...
@@kfbell11 thats not particuarly what they are getting at, i believe what their saying is true. Think about it; there are MAINLY Carnivores, Obnivores and Herbivores, Right? We all know dogs and their ancestors are OBNIVORES, and deer, rabbits etc are HERBIVORES, whilest rats and mice are also OBNIVORES. if the foxes, wolves, coyotes etc were to go extinct, the deer and mice would infest our crops and our natural vegitation. They would all begin to reproduce young, and those babies would grow and scatter for another place to stay- they would try to find a place with FOOD AND VEGETATION, so eventually all small plant-eating things would finish all they food and main crops. Leaving us all with no plants, greens, herbs, anything that grows from the soil. Leaving us with ONLY meat and animals. Eventually mice would begin to kill each other and gang up of larger animals for food, lowering the last fewer species of herbivores that can’t fight back. When the herb and herbivore spectrum is low, our crops will be gone and all we have now is the surviving mice and rats- infesting our houses and streets, STILL fighting for food. So we’d have nothing but rat, mice, rabbit, deer etc CARCASSES all over our towns/cities/nations/states etc.
Precious little fox, not vermin. I feel for Leslie, my Matilda has only spent one night away from me when I had shoulder replacement. I can’t go to sleep with out her curled up by me. Glad it was a relatively simple fix.
If they’re still available, he can be found in many older episodes of Bondi Vet doing amazing work at SASH. The variety and skill of the surgeries is incredible! Above all, he’s always seemed very kind and enthused about what he does.
For those wondering why everyone is getting mad and saying that foxes aren’t vermin, no one in the video said that foxes are vermin, one of the vets were only saying that some people see them as vermin.
They are vermins if you are working with chickens and geese. They kill their livestock, so I can see why certain people are not a big fan of these creatures. I am not saying I feel the same, I am just saying I can understand why they think about foxes like that.
I love all of the Bondi vets and staff. They are all amazing as is the work they do. Foxes to me are like dogs. The breading programs at the Animal Park are so great
Oh my gosh! So adorable and will grow up to be a beautiful adult. What is wrong with these people who have to label every creature that they don’t happen to like as bad , or vermin, and deserves to die. Fox are not only beautiful, they keep actual vermin in check at least here in the states. They kill, mice, rats, squirrels etc. They are destructive and foxes keeps those populations in check so they don’t over populate. Thank you for your help to make sure this baby grows up healthy. So many selfish people out there who only think about what they want so they clear land, hunt animals for fun, or just because they don’t like them as a result animals have and are disappearing
I understand that owners worry with Patchy Girl. My dog has had the same issue since she was 1-2 years old and its getting worse...i think we will need the stent surgery, im so worried about my baby. Im glad Patchy had a good outcome though, that was an emotional section for me
Wow, I’ve had several uneventful foal births, something like this event would have been so traumatic. I can’t begin to say how worrying the whole two/three days were for everyone concerned. I’m so pleased he’s going to be fine, now I must find the follow-up video
Tim's incredible excitement about the snake's eggs is impossible to resist...... The emotion from that special human being is SO precious...... such a treat!!!!!!!!! Thanks to you, Tim ....., and of course to John........
Oh wow that little fox was adorable so very cute. It’s amazing how such small tissue parts in the dogs voice box was causing so much trouble thankgod he is ok. How exciting for the reptile park to get these 6 baby snakes well done done to Tim and the team
From cub to teen Zorro's snout and ears grew out beautifully. Happy for Zorro and Patchy girl. Hope the bird makes it through the migration season in captivity. 💗💗🐾🐾
It's so nice to see foxes getting some compassion and respect. I do understand why some communities don't want too many around, but I think 'vermin' is too harsh a term for any animal.
I love foxes. Every night for last seven years I’ve been feeding foxes, they are chunky like rhinos I don’t miss a single night. I usually give them chicken carcasses and sausages they love it and cat dry food. My neighbours have complained to the council but nothing really happened and certainly didn’t deter me from feeding these beautiful dog/cat like creatures . Why are they considered vermin when they look like dogs and are very clever as dogs. . They suffer all day hiding in bushes and going through bin all night with little hope for food the least we can do is respect and help them. I love foxes.
Bless the guy for bring in the fox -zoro - he is beautiful - all wild life is important - I am part native american and its our job to protect the animals ans enivornment - bless the vets too
Thank God that FOX HUNTING HAS BEEN OUTLAWED. It made me absolutely livid when foxes were hunted by hounds in England, Australia and other countries. They are not Vermin.
Foxs shouldn’t be in Australia but that doesn’t mean they should be treated poorly. Hopefully he can live as a pet or sanctuary of some kind. Edit: apparently he’s being released back into the wild? Doesn’t seem right.
I'm really inspired to be a vet for as long as I can remember. I'm in college working towards getting into a veterinary college. I saw a book on Chris's desk during the video "Small animal internal medicine 3rd edition". I wanted to ask the fellow vets who watch, what are some of your favorite books you would recommend? Thanks!
Leslie and Patchy Girl's story and bond is almost identical to the one my grandma had with her Tibetian Terrier, lost him a few years ago and the cause of death could never be determined. Absolutely destroyed us, aside from her I was the only other person he actually cared about since I spent so much time at their place, she now has a little yorkie who adores her and she adores the yorkie but the hole the tibetian terrier left is very prominant
Going from Snake Discovery doing a clutch video to this with Tim and the clutch of Dwarf King Browns, apparently today is a snake video day. But yay, babies!
Every animal in our world has a viable purpose in our lives. Wolves take care of the abundance of deer and caribou. Foxes take care of small animals like mice, rats, gophers and rabbits if they can catch them. Hawks, owls and Bald Eagles serve a purpose as well.
Awesome video everyone.. Scott that was great with the little fox it was so adorable. Brisket loves how the bird kept going after your fingers even when food was involved. Lisa great save with the dog and Andrew is an amazing surgeon. Tim amazing work with the breeding program on the dwarf? king browns then to name after John. Thanks everyone!
The greatest man in history is Jesus. He had no servants, yet they called him master. He had no degree, yet they called him teacher. He had no medicines, yet they called him healer. He had no army, yet kings feared him.He won no military battles, yet he conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified him.He was buried in a tomb, Yet He lives Today. Jesus is ALIVE!! And He is offering the free gift of salvation. Do you want to be saved? Then say this prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, Have mercy on me, I'm a sinner, forgive me my sins, Cleanse me from my iniquities, I believe You died for me, And today, I forsake all my sin, I forsake devil and the world, I enter into the kingdom God, In Jesus name Amen". You have now been saved! Now spread the good news!
Yep hernia surgery is not fun. I kept getting told 'we won't operate until you lose weight' then my body had other ideas when my bowel became attached to the abdominal wall and my hernia became infected. "Emergency Surgery" took place 2 days after I went to my local hospital and was transferred to another hospital further away for surgery. Was in hospital for 2 weeks and got a clot in my lung as well, which meant I was on blood thinners for 6 months post-op.
@@brissygirl4997 hope you continue on the up, after that!! My daughter was born with a hernia the size of an egg just below her tummy button. Absolutely scary. It didn't go away either and she needed surgery when she was a few years old
That fox was too cute. And I never thought I'd be so happy to see baby snakes (although I suspect the real happiness generator there was Tim and John being so happy about it!)
My dog has a collapsed Trechea and an enlarged heart. He was at the vet last Monday. I learned more from watching Bondi Vet and why my dog is coughing so much then I did from my vet. She told me that his condition was because he had bad teeth.
From the United States, foxes necessary to control rodent populations, in the city unusual to see except at night or dawn. I have seen two with rats trotting along. Studies have shown both in Britain and the UK and the Us not a threat to domestic animals. Someone always has an anecdotal or rare story of a fox being a problem; problems are most unusual. Thank you, Dr Scott for providing education and information.
Britain and UK are the same country. If you want to mention a specific British country there's England, Scotland and Wales. Any Irish viewers please correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Ireland is also part of the UK.
Fox can be dangerous if they have rabies. There have been a couple attacks this July by rabid fox in North Carolina where I live. I think that's where people get the idea that they're a problem. They also raid chicken coops. The bottom line is as people move into their territory we have more encounters with them and there can be problems so we have to adapt and do our best to keep away from them.
The majority of people saying about foxes being a real problem are likely from Australia, where foxes aren't native. They are pests and destroying the wildlife in Australia.
Now look what you’ve done. All the other little kits are going to laugh at him because he doesn’t have a belly button. Instead of playing the cootie game, they’ll say he was hatched from an egg, tsk tsk.
Zorro would remember that in his early life he dreamed of big giants who gave him lots of pets and treats, little did he know, he has lived because of them. Such a beauty.
I can't get over her name, "Patchy GIRL"...wouldn't Patchy just be enough? 😂🥰 🤭 I haven't seen how she recovered yet, I hope she's well & it's so heartbreaking to see that sweet little miss feeling poor & having trouble breathing. Also how her human described, that she's been there for her when she was in hospital, so she's obviously EXTRA special to her 😭😭 I can totally relate, but for me it's my 4 year old male cat, we also have a 3 year old female cat whom I of course love dearly, but our male I got, when he was a kitten, right after I had been through a really tough & traumatic time. And he's truly attached to me 😹 so yes he's really special to me, so I can relate to what this woman is talking about 💗 I just love animals SO much, I would honestly not want to live in this world anymore if it weren't for them 🥰❤
I just love these vets, Tim is so devoted, but l still don't want your job I'm always wondering if there isn't any broken wings or bills that Chris can't repair? I could stand a hug though from both of you.
Patchy Girl looks like she is asking for rescue. She legit looks scared of her owner, there must be off-camera moments of Patchy excited to see her. She did look like "oh crap you're giving me back," but I wouldn't be excited to see someone who let a random knock me out, and hurt me with permission.
Foxes that are raised by humans like a pet become the combination of cat and dog. They are energetic like a dog and noisy like a cat. There are actually a few youtube channels about foxes that are raised, Finnegan Fox, Serafina Fox and Dixiedo Fox who are all from the channel called SaveAFox.
I love foxes and wolves, they are only a problem if farmers get lazy about their chicken pen building and otherwise don't steal my veggies like bunnies and instead play with any fun toys my dogs leave in the yard.
