If you ever get a copyright strike and the movie industry argues that because of channels like yours, people buy less movies or subscribe less to streaming services, just know, I paused several of your videos 2 minutes into it because I liked the story and went to the streaming service where I could find that movie and watched it in full. In other words, your videos encouraged me to legally watch several of the movies and episodes you covered.
Another interesting fact here is that Ray is actually Isabella's biological son. Ray was born with a condition whereas he remembers everything from the moment he was born lol. Thats basically how he knew what has been happening and he agreed to be a spy in exchange of some gadgets which they later use for their escape (he disassembles them and make something out of them which is really smart). P.s Krone is actually black and really tall based on the manga. She also have an interesting background story on how she became a "mother". The hide and seek part of the manga with Krone was one of the best scene too. My fellow manga readers would relate.
I'm still not over the fact that Ray was the only one who looked like a 11 years old when Emma and Norman looked like adults, especially Norman, he looks 70 wtf💀
Theres also the fact that they left the little kids because they knew they wouldn’t be harvested yet- they were too young, so they only took the older kids and would come back later. So smart!
Yeah...they can't take all of them. Since they had to cross the giant wall to the other side with a big deep cliff underneath, it will be hard for the young ones. So they had to leave them but came back! That's true love right there😌
This video didn't Talk much about isabella but she's one of my favorites, she became a mother to avoid being eaten as girls who's intelligent can either be eaten or be the next mother, she picks to became a mother and be pregnant to ray to contribute to the farm (all mothers are forced to get pregnant for more Child meat) She tried to escape from her old mother (the grandmother) but got caught since she couldn't pass the huge wall because it has a big ravine. She lost hope after she climbed the wall seeing that there's a huge hole infront of her, thus coming back to the grandma. She lets emma go because she see herself on them but instead of losing hope they get to escape. Idk isabella is just the best for me
@@bungawowzers That's just it. She did that because she know that there's no hope on escaping as she tried that aswell before, she did that to stop emma because she believe they can't escape either way
Why do people hate his voice. He has a really nice relaxing voice lol. Also way better then an AI bot Edit: I said this a month ago, when this video came out I saw so many comments talking about how they didn't like his voice, and how they wanted him to switch back to the AI voice. Those people seemed to have left by now which is great because this channel is doing better then ever now.
Wasn’t aware they did a live action of this. Won’t lie. The manga scared the crap outta me. The art style for “Mother” and “sister Krone” is so sinister.
😭that’s sad tbh because this shows how shitty the promised never land live action did because it went from being the most hyped to being the most ignored
@@Buckheimer no it did, you just didn’t see it , especially with the fact it’s on netflix it had 2 hype breakthroughs during its first season , then the second season dropped and it got sm backlash and criticism
I honestly feel really bad for Isabella because on the inside, she is truly a caring and kind person. She only did what she was ordered and forced to do by the owners.
She wasn't forced, she made a choice. Raising kids for slaughter is a choice. Perhaps the alternative, death, is the choice a caring and kind person would make.
@@jacobp.2024 I'd like to think so too, but nobody knows. Either way Isabella Madd her choice. Calling her caring and kind is an insult to all the children she served up for slaughter.
@@propogandalf what other option did she have? Someone else would have simply taken her place. She gave the kids the best life possible in the time that she had with them, it was all she could do
@@sadenuttie2234 Any house mother would have given them a good life. Her other option was death. If everyone took a stand and refused to be a mother there would be no farm system as we know it.
@@Bernardoribei yea no the first season yea i’m talking about when they said the monsters decided to eat isabella. We alllll know that’s not what happened lol
I was not surprised that Isabella let the kids go... After all she raised them like her own children and it was hard for her to see all those kids dying
“The students are classified as good meat when they’re more intelligent” Well it looks like I am immune to these demon monster things Now it’s my duty to throw myself in front of them To protect my friends because of my bad quality and my less appealing look Heck I would basically a savior in this situation 😂
I’m so proud of Philip for being such a brave young boy, he even suspected mama from the beginning. By the way, it’s not pronounced “MAINGA” it’s actually pronounced “MANGA”. I love this anime 😄
It's insane that this channel started 3 months ago and now has this much views and contents and subscribers. Well, the contents are epic. The new Netflix. I just want to know the text to speech they used before switching to the narrator
Also Adam, the narrator, has his own channel (a gaming channel) where he kinda explained the switch from text to speech. Basically, RU-vid was demonetizing text to speech. What I want to know is why this channel and others like it were using text to speech in the first place and also why they want Adam to sound kinda monotone as if he’s text to speech. (He doesn’t speak like that on his own channel.) I had read somewhere these channels are owned by people who can’t pronounce English very well. Is that the case; and they just hired a Canadian (I’m assuming Adam’s a Canadian because his accent kinda sounds Canadian.) to do the narration when threatened with demonetization?
Japanese adaptation always made the miatake of following the source material Too strict, I mean irl, japanese face with a red hair is just too unnatural and feel out of place. They should take some creative freedom to fit the New medium. Good example is Marvel live action. movies are altered from comics to fit the medium.
@@TheRIZKYRAMA I think so too! On the other hand there’s always the possibility that some toxic people would say that they ruined the character designs. People will always be people
It is so sad and scary to think that this things really does take olace. Like the squid game. Like we are just for the entertainment of the rich and elites.
Dude for the longest time i was convinced your voice was some high-tech text-to-speech software, it's too perfect. Then you started adding a little clip of yourself at the beginning and realize i'm an idiot
It’s called promised neverland I’d recommend watching only s1 and reading the manga afterwards since they just rushed through five seasons and put it all into s2
@@akaneshio6406 let him watch the second season.... Second season was.... Giving Emma extreme luck kinda day, except for the mom. The mother of Ray died ofc
@@absolutebeauty7753 Yeah, but not in the anime, which is the biggest change. Of course, he can watch it, but it's bad and rushed... (It is a good thing to watch bad anime tho since you'll learn to appreciate the good ones and have a better understanding of why things are considered bad) The manga is much better in comparison, even tho all the endings (manga, anime, and live-action) were not very good. And of course, it's ok to like bad things. I like some bad anime too. I don't mean that this is bad as a personal opinion (I do personally find it bad, but I'm not talking about it right now), but it's bad because it's not well made and the reveals, mysteries, and what's happening in general, are not well executed.
@@prachi9322 yes she did I couldn’t agree more but I don’t think that should justify the fact that they didn’t use a black person im sure they could’ve found one.
@@Sul227 Haven't u heard of a "Womb"? What do u mean a "Mother is not the one who birthed u??" U make no sense. Mother's aren't ever defined wether she cares for u or not. Either way DNA & Blood clarifies everything the only difference is there's Uncaring Mother's & Caring ones.
Omg!!! I didn't know they made a movie out of this! My workmates and I used to watch the anime together during our lunch break. We love this! The anime is a must watch ❤️
It’s good they have kinda mixed two of the seasons in one movie cause it took me 2 months to finish both the seasons but I suggest yall to watch the anime cause it’s pretty cool and it will give you some more twists
No I believe the movie only showed 1 season except for that twist where Isabella gets eaten by a demon *spoiler* I believe in s2 anime Isabella get imprisoned but we don't fully know if shes still alive or not but in the manga Isabella dies trying to help the rest of the kids and some other mother's from different farms escape to the human world but apparently she doesn't die and becomes the new grandmother (I'm not quite sure if this is correct)
@@RWC-Ichigo okay so I haven’t read the manga but yes they added the ending but the ending in the anime and the movie is totally different and Isabella in the anime is with the other children in the human world to take care of them until Emma ray and Norway return with the other children (btw this all happened in season 2)
You have no idea how much it was rushed... Such good characters were cut out and Norman's return was literally out of nowhere because we didn't have any clues in the anime, and it seemed like a last-moment decision even tho it wasn't.... They literally put about 100 chapters in 11? Episodes and 1 of them was a RECAP episode :) So 10 episodes, aka about 240 mins, aka 4 hours, was definitely not enough to put SO many characters, story, character growth, mystery, clues, secrets that anime only-s never found out about, Isabella's actual character growth (literally she's my favorite character at the end of the manga), etc etc, and just SO much was cut short and it didn't make any logical sense... :') I don't hate how it ended in the anime tho. I do think they saved up on Isabella (manga readers will know what I'm talking about), the last min or so was good enough, while it seemed just a little bit dragged in the manga. The anime version KINDA doesn't make sense tho, as much as I remember... But it's all good XD
I have also been shocked (and found it hard to accept) when discovering how evil my own "mother" can be, and the depths of depravity to which she will go to hurt me.
when you tell your siblings that they are adopted after they watched this series " buddy well your AdOpTeD" " YOUR SELLING ME TO DEMONS?!!" "wha- no why would I- what?"
WOW! This movie is incredibly original.I can only i.agine what it wld be like reading this book! Even though I know the summary of the story, I am still VERY MUCH INTERESTED in seeing this movie! Thank you for sharing a d opening my mind to a movie I otherwise wld have never gotten the opportunity to watch!!
Small impactful difference between the manga and the movie: (manga spoiler warning) Isabella was not killed after the escape since they value her abilities and potential, and instead, her supervisor, the "grandmother" was killed for failing to manage Isabella.
Fun fact.: Ray is isabella's sun. He has super memory (my English isn't working as I type this well, school burn out) and in the last eps. he remembers the lullaby she sang to him as he was in the womb. Leading up to him asking her "Hey mom, why did you give birth to me?". Part of the Mothers training program is to get pregnant and give birth for more children for cultivation
I watched the anime and finished it a few months ago, but it's season 2 was disappointing (I didn't read the manga, just saw people complain that most of the manga's chapters weren't in season 2). The movie also left many details, such as Ray explaining on how he remembered and knew everything ever since he was born. And the fact Phil knew from just a few hints.
So wait, how did they manage to tie the ropes to the top of the wall they couldn't climb in order to climb it, and how did they tie the zip-lines to trees at the bottom of the cliff they couldn't otherwise get down?
idk if youve watched the anime or read the manga yet, but it's actually really good. the manga, ofc. the anime starts off nicely in s1 but in s2 it kinda gets boring and is diff from the manga
s2 is also here! its a rollercoaster of a ride if you watch the anime/read the manga. and i dont know if it was mentioned but norman likes emma! well for s2, i dont know about ray n emma but theyre very cuuuteeee

I love your videos. I still watch your video regardless I seen the movies or in this case anime but I just love the way you describe and narrate the movies. Keep up the great work!
What an excellent reflection of the human society! This is what we humans do to other animals, raise them with food and shelter, and finally kill them to eat their flesh. And here in the comments, we are cursing the monsters and the teacher, which indirectly we are cursing ourselves
Difference is intelligence, a chicken isn’t able to process and feel things like we humans can. Not to say that animals can’t feel, but you can’t really say that 1 chicken holds as much importance as 1 human.
@@Thomas48484Man I eat meat too sometimes. But, See in the perspective of the chicken or cow or goat which we don't do. In the perspective of the monsters they consider our intelligence as we consider a cow or chicken's intelliegence.
@@juhabach6325 So thats it We should not complain about the monsters or the mom in movie, its all nature. Fact is we are the humans who broke the food chain in course of our development or we should have been prayed upon by lions tigers or cheetas or anacondas. But u know, intelligence took over us. :)
