I've wanted a pair of green / olive pants for some time now and was very close to grabbing a pair of Tellason fatigue pants only to be swayed at the last minute by these trousers from OrSlow. These are the OrSlow Slim Fit US Army Fatigue Pant in olive.
These Sateen fatigue pants wear quite relaxed compared to the denim I usually wear. It's been interesting getting used to the wider leg opening, though they are super comfortable owing to the super soft fabric - they will age beautifully as well (check out Withered Fig's review below).

Fatigue style pants were something I’d never have considered until recently, but I keep seeing pictures on Instagram of vintage military fatigues paired with a denim jacket and now I think it’s a great look. I think I’ll need to pick up a pair soon!

I know right! For me the colour gets me every time more than anything. I love that green and these fatigues are super soft!. For those days when you cannot be bothered with denim ;)

I got a pair of these as soon as they where on sale in uk shops. Had them about 5-6years and they still look great. Very tough fatigues

Nice review Cameron, i got the wide version, perfect for the greek summer with shoes like potery snickers...personaly i would like to see more military clothing reviews...eg buzz ricksons etc...

I've been wearing these orslow fatigues in green for a few months. Just got the 107 jeans, hoping to get the slim fatigues in khaki as well. I relate to them being loose at first! I have exclusively worn stretch jeans for years, and transitioning to how these fit felt strange. At first I found them pretty loose, but the tapered leg shape that they give is actually slim, in the overall pants fit spectrum. I'm really loving them. The high rise and big pockets are also cool, not to mention the fabric.

They grow on you don't they! I really do love these as an alternative to denim, when i just feel like relaxing a little bit more or if it's too hot for denim.

Absolutely loved these. What was the isnta channel you mentioned that you came across these on? Man I have naked and famous army green duck canvas and it was epic to wear out the package. But after washing it. The damn creases in duck canvas are impossible to iron put. The one's I really love are from a small UK company called &sons (and sons)VIRGIL CHINO ARMY GREEN really comfy. How many green Bottoms can a man own!

@@CameronO you weren't kidding. That guy is super active and man. My wallets going to feel this. Haha I got my self some dehen shawl cardigan which is pretty epic. I wanted a grey sweater and tried on the real mccoy after your review but could not make the size work. It just got weird between the xl and xxl. So also got myself a heavy duty crew in grey and man pair that with anything green or olive and it's pretty awesome.

I have the same pair of Orslow in tan/khaki! Highly recommend you get the matching olive Orslow fatigue shirt. That thing is probably one of the most versatile overshirts in my wardrobe!

I have the tellason. They are super comfortable. They fit true to size, but they dont expand with time, and there is no stretch in them. At the same time they are fairly slim fitting, so I would recommend chosing a larger size if you are in doubt.

I think a long way down the line i will try the tellason ones. They seem to be the only real alternative!

Great review, thanks 🙂 I've tried the Slim Fit Orslow in two sizes and I'm still unsure whether I should take the smaller or larger size. Does the material at the waistband and back stretch? If so, I would tend towards the smaller one. Im afraid the bigger size looks to wide on my back and stretches out even more.... Thanks

I love my pair! Been wearing them alot over the year I've owned them. Now there a hole on the right knee (always wear my right knee on all my jeans/pants) and I patched them with a really nice indigo dyed fabric. I'll continue to patch them for years to come 🤝

Check out some wool trousers for denim alternatives as well. Picked up some darker brown herringbone valentino trousers (way way way reduced) and absolutely in love with them with the fall weather.

Hi there. Yeah they are but on reflection jeans have relatively similar size pockets but they usually sit closer to your body and have smaller openings. These pockets or quite open. It is easy for your phone to slide out.

I have the US army fit ORSLOW and love it. Also, the Tellason Fatigue Pant are actually made in Italy, not the US.

@@CameronO I think the only US made fatigue pants available these days may be vintage mil issue. I have only had the Orslow for few a couple of months and no wash yet so looks pretty new still. Cheers, from Australia!

The pockets are not ideal, but I just ordered these from Blue Owl. I have them in brown and I love them. Super comfortable! And I love the dark green like you.

The tabs on these are handy so you have a range if that makes sense. I'm a 3 in these which they say is a medium. That's roughly true to size for me.

Hey Justin, thanks man. The sweat is from The Real McCoys. It's the Loopwheel sweater. I have a video of it on my channel. You can find similar sweats from brands like UES and also Merz B. I'm looking to get a UES one soon. Buzz Ricksons also do some nice ones that a slightly more affordable too.

@@xallelsefailedx No problems. Well mine is a medium i think which is a normal size. For this sweat specifically it is loopwheeled, meaning it is constructed on a tubular machine under low tension. In my experience it makes it more 'plump' it's strange but for me the medium fits fine. I would highly recommend trying them on if you can.

find a store that uses a national postal service to ship instead of a courier. I've had really good luck not paying exorbitant import prices (usually fees and such added by the courier) when importing into Canada.

I’ve only had them for 9 months. It seems to be from wear I guess. Since the thread is horizontal it’s maybe pulling more from sitting etc? Not sure but it’s probably to late to return. I love the pants so much I’ll probably buy another pair and hope for the best.

I have fatigues and the issue you described with the phone falling out are a dealbreaker for me. Imagine wearing with a T-shirt only. Where is your phone going then? You need to mentally work around it which I find unacceptable
