They also usually, falsely, believe that the definition of “the press” means any “corporate “ media outlet but NOT U.S. citizens so they then will ask for you to “prove” you are a part of the corporate media by asking for “press credentials.” This includes the police at times. Orthodox Christians have suffered in Europe especially during the 90s especially instances while in prayer and the Church packed with women and primarily children there was 100s of instances when terrorists,criminals , radicals or Vigilantes use to commit murders and massacres upon them.. So that is why these people are so veiry of new comers or people they don't know. This is still happening today in Places like Nigeria,Kenya,Egypt and Ethiopia to Orthodox Christians so you cannot blame the people for being on the defensive.
