**IMPORTANT UPDATE** - I was so excited to start cutting that I only recently started to attempt an engrave and realized a downfall in the current setup. When laser is engraving and doing its passes it is constantly firing on and off which is then making the compressor go on and off, sometimes 3 or more times in a sec which can't be good for the compressor and the compressor can't build up enough pressure in time to actually blow efficiently. Back to the drawing board but hoping this influences and motivates others to find and share solutions.
The new Ortur LU2-10A laser module comes with a new laser module board that provides the ability to use one of the extra output ports to send the PWM signal of the laser to a AC relay board so that items like air assist or fans for fume extraction automatically turn on or off with the laser firing.
