Well it looks natural because one it's the first made of the manichitrathazhu movies(the main) and shobhana is a very talented and trained dancer.... She knows how to make it seem like she doesn't know how to dance and still look amazing in the process....
In the original movie all the artists have done a good job... If u ignore the dance scenes also..the actresses can't come near to shobhana... Mohan lal, suresh gopi and many more supporting actors in mollywood...in mollywood than stardom logic and talent is the elements that really matters...

I am Maharashtrian....I only watched Tamil and Hindi version of "manichitrathazhu" . But I watched this song sequence from every version.....and I feel Malayalam version looks more natural than other versions... especially Shobhana's performance in this song .....
There is no comparison to Sobhana maam.....she's wasn't acting, but she was living the life of the character. Unrivalled in her skills!!! GOD level performance it was.......🔥🔥🔥
Hello all. I am Marathi. Of all the versions, I like the original Malayalam Manichitra thazu. No gimmicks. Shobana and Mohanlal were brilliant. Shobana won national award for best actress in 1994.
Yeah true original is the best.. in Tamil and kannada I think they changed the story a little bit. Original malayalam was a psychological thriller as the subject was multiple personality disorder and in other languages they kind of added a ghostly nonsense to it.
I watch all these versions but Malayalam is Always best. True Acting. Perfect Dance. Everything is perfect in original version anyone can't beat it. Really proud to be a Malayali ❤☺️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
First time I ever watched this story was Aptamitra, and I was astonished at Soundarya's performance, and felt sad that she didn't see the success of that movie. Then later I watched exceptional performance of my most favorite Shobhana and felt nobody can even touch her performance. About Chandramukhi, Jyotika did work hard to match but she lacks grace in dance, but did well in deglamorized part. The hero of this story is Ganga, but in Chandramukhi, problem is Rajnikant's larger-than-life heroism spoiled the credibility of the storyline.

Original is Original.... No one can beat the Acting, Dance and performance of shobhana. Her Performance led to National Award. But other 3 performance was also good.
Remember every other actors did this only after 1999 ..... But in Malayalam they did this script in early 1990's ...... That too a bilingual with split personality and all science stuffs..... (I am tamilian but I love manichithrathaazhu)

RaRa was popularized I Kannada later remade to other languages . it makes sense because in Kannada version the Possessed girl played the role of Telugu girl while in Tamil and Hindi it was Malyalaie and Bengali . so RA RA was a Telugu word used originally in Kannada version.

It's original version is actually good... Well acted shobhana mom... without any graphics and her acting was very natuaral.her dancing was just amazing..❣️❣️❣️.and all the remakes contain many graphic works... Manichithrathazhu milestone of Malayalam film industry..

I am from Pakistan. I knew this malayalam song since childhood. My father worked in Dubai. At that time he bought the cassette tape of this movie. My father also told that this actress the best actress award from Indian government. Still I het goosebump while watching this movie in youtube.
This was huge success in Kannada. I saw the film in same theatre for more than 4 times in different season running time in theatre was 400+ days successfully. Vishnuvardhan and Soundarya combo was swagg. Watched more than 20 times while writing it for DVD.
Yes ur correct through it is remake but also Aptamitra Kannada movie was good each and every actors Vishnuvardhan, Dwarkesh, Ramesh Aravind, Soundarya ,Avinash,Prema etc.. acting was outstanding 🔥🔥 missing olden days 😭😭❤
Only Malayalam and Kannada versions are best. Malayalam one is top notch✌️✌️. Shobana mam nailed it with her fast energetic dance moves and awesome expressions. Soundarya mam danced with grace with good expressions and was well presented.

Because remo formed the love failure of ambi likewise here her believes rooted in her heart make her nagavalli. If you understand the story well you can understand things well too. There is a theory... When nagavalli's wish is not satisfied she kills herself but actually the person dies and not nagavalli... In movie, nagavalli was tricked and her real wish was not satisfied... So she killed herself... So the actual person dies i.e soundarya ma'am....
One of my favorite best movie Aptamitra. Soundarya her performance was natural acting, dressing, expression was superb. each aNd every actors they also acted very well in their own way
All actress gave their best performance.. of course Shobana amazing performance.. she got many awards.. Soundarya also amazing.. Soundarya last movie was from Kannada Aptamitra.. the movie director told in one interview.. the shooting of the movie was delayed for many days for one or the other reasons.. that was the final time if the shooting.. Soundarya asked the director sir that she want 3 days leave. He refused. Then she requested Vishnuvardhan sir. Vishnu sir told the director sir, give her leave, by tomarrow finish all her shooting scenes, I ll wait for one day. Let us finish the rest of the things. They managed to shoot the final part. Within one day they made two songs shooting Raa Raa and Anku donku song. She left and the next day Vishnu sir and Ramesh sir team completed the rest. When they started packing everything Vishnu sir got a call that Soundarya and her brother both are dead with plane crash.. that was the saddest thing and great loss for the whole south India film industry.. although she is from Karnataka she got a very great recognition from Telugu.. we all miss her forever.. Soundarya means beauty.. Beauty is not permanent.. but she stays in all our heart forever.. she died in 2004 but still today and forever she stays in our heart..

As usual realistic version is from malayalam industry. And shobhana of course the best of all time. The movie name is MANICHITHRATHAZHU released on 1993. Mohanlal was in the lead role and his work is uncomparable and he is the finest realistic actor in the country. Other movies above are the remake of this movie. We have to admit that mollywood is best at its stories and acting skills. Whenever we see a good movie from any film industry we have to appreciate them. Be the good audience of good works. Don't consider languages as barriers.
