What is the difference length/diameter etc?

Thank you kings, I am very surprised, i tought it was a subtle change like when changing the wing! My driving is not great but better, i spend more time driving than picking up the car!😄

@@delawarepro3539 Diameter is always the same asaf, the loonger is the header, the more torque!!💪 shorter -> less bottom and more top end power, more speed

What pipes and length headers did you try short 75mm and xl 85mm ?

Thank you! i also want to experiment with different headers and pipes! I would like to get a pipe that corresponds to each engine but sadly pipes are expensive and i have many different engines..

I was very surprised! I thought it would have a minor effect on performance... I'm starting to get used to the track, I go back and forth less to pick up the car, until recently my legs hurt after a practice session, good workout though 😆

@@rcbuggyhl4674Yes, this is the equivalent of changing the cam timing/duration/lift on a 4 stroke engine. By that, I mean that in the same way that cams can drastically alter where an engine makes power, it’s exactly the same on a 2 stroke the regard to the header pipe length. For example, if you look at a 250cc motocross bike, the header pipe is really long, it curves around to get some extra length for low-mid rpm power. By contrast, a 125cc bike has a very short header as those engines need to rev quite high to make power.

You are right, i think ill get the L and M headers too!

What brand of headers are they os

Is the short header the 75mm the m pipe is the 80mm pipe

@@user-rg9jd3tn7r that is the measurements for OS’s pipes. hipex and hipex based pipes have 48mm as the shortest and 55mm as the longest (i think). even though the headers have really big differences in lengths between brands the pipes from each brand are tuned to their respective brands headers

I agree, a bit rich not at its best but it was necessary to keep it at the right temperature, at the expense of the footage, I did not touch the carb settings after installing the xl header and it kept a good temp! I wonder if the difference is so noticable with other engines 🤔

Installing the Spower in the Tmaxx? Impossible, you need a pullstart engine!

Well no..I could have, if they had sent me a good engine, I gave them a chance but they decided otherwise. I saw that they made a .24 or .25 truggy engine.. despite all this stuff I would like to try

@@TastyBRC From what I’ve seen and heard, the engine is very tight during break in, so even though the chrome on your sleeve doesn’t have the smoothest finish, it would just end up getting polished out anyway during break-in, and the scratch on the piston just looked like a surface scuff which shouldn’t effect compression at all. Overall there’s nothing preventing it from being a functional engine, but like you’ve said before, it’s the fact that these defects are on an engine of that price point and from a company whose main goal is high quality (and their response to you was pretty bad), but if you still got the engine, I’d say just run it and see how it goes. I highly doubt those little things are going to give you trouble running it

Asher I completely agree with you, I'm sure the scratches in the sleeve and on the piston wouldn't have stopped this engine from running properly. I sent this engine back to the hobby shop, more because of Nova's response than because of manufacturing problems. I changed it for the Ielasi Dirt which, by the way, was cheaper..

@@TastyBRC That makes sense. I’m surprised the Ielasi was cheaper, but it is their older version of the Dirt so that may be why. The Dirt R in the US is like $200 more than the B5R 😂

@@ashermorales8276 Exactly, it's the Dirt not the Dirt R, Ielasi engines are cheaper here than in ths US, dirt: 388$, dirt R 431$, nova B5R 409$

J'ai bien de la chance d'avoir cette piste près de chez moi 😁 Les pistes en terre sont plus amusantes mais celle ci demande moins d'entretien et use moins les pneus entre autres !!!!

This is not specified by Reds! Unlike other brands like OS which indicate the length, Reds indicates S to XL
