Thank you for watching! I'm running out of places to go inside and film in one continuous take, so I might instead make my videos where I go to many shops then show what I bought (Like the tour video with "July 2024" in the title. For hotels I know that you can stay at Capsule hotels VERY cheaply, but they're not the most comfortable and in fairly public settings. You need to put your luggage in safe lockers overnight. The hotel chain "APA" is quite affordable, less than $70USD per night and you get a whole room and bathroom to yourself. If your staying for a longer time it might work out cheaper. These hotels are all over the country (I've only stayed in APA in Tokyo from my memory. I stayed in Roppongi.) Lastly, you could probably use Air BnB to find a super cheap place. Air BnB mostly works with a key left in a box with a pin and then you have access to someone's house or apartment. I think it's probably the nicest option for the amount you pay but has a lot of risk and uncertainty because it's not a proper hotel, or conventional accomodation - Still, I've never had problems. I've lived in Osaka for 5 years, so of course I'm gonna say it's the best haha! Namba and Nipponbashi are very good places for shopping (and anime shopping!) I also believe it's cheaper than Tokyo. While staying here you can easily visit Kyoto for shrines and temples and beautiful settings, and Nara for ancient Japanese temples and petting/feeding the deer in the park! Tokyo is just way way waaayyy too busy, but there's definitely a lot more to see and do there, so it's nice as well! For anime shopping there I prefer Nakano Broadway for second hand goods, and Ikebukuro for lots of keyrings, badges, figues and collectibles. Honestly, Akihabara is overrated, even though that's the one everyone knows about. It is very big and flashy thugh, looks cool and is the true experience - but honestly the selection isn't the best in my opinion. Best season to visit Japan is certainly spring because of the sakura blossom, but EVERYONE comes during that time, it's the tourist-busiest season. I think autumn looks beautiful too, lots of nice red leaves! I like it being slightly cooler instead of slightly warmer too. I really hope I helped you! If you really want to come to Japan then I'm sure you will one day make it happen, even if it takes a year or two!
