In the 1st round i would have said John Ratzenberger the actor who played 'Cliff' the know-all sad postman in 'Cheers', who i wonder would he have made it to the Pointless list, and if so how many points did he make? He is my favourite character in all of sit-coms.

defining "lead actors" as someone who's been in more than half of the episodes of a series excludes some very obvious lead actors from series like Cheers and MASH who had some cast changes (doesnt matter if those cast changes were before or after the half way mark as either the replacements or the originals will be excluded either way). Like, to exclude either Kirstie Alley or Shelly Long seems wrong; theyre basically filling the same role, so either both are leads or neither of them are. Same with Woody and the Coach. This "50% of episodes" seems arbitrary and straight up wrong.
