Oscar Peterson monumental Jazz album, Live in Paris 1962, which I recorded in extremely high quality straight from the vinyl on my home recording studio setup.
First time I saw and heard Oscar on stage (I was 10 years old) was with my father, in 1963 if I remember so this unknown and marvelous record (how named ?) has a very special tastd for me. Warm thanks
It's Oscar Peterson singing what he's playing - as he's playing it. Lot's of jazz folks do that. First time I heard it, I thought it was some drunk guy in the front row (Last Call at the Blue Note album, 1990-ish I think, on that wicked slow blues tune - once they get out of the melody and Oscar starts his solo).
I’ll make a song list for it eventually with time stamps for the comments but I have yet to figure out the name of the unknown tune never heard it before.
