all his girlfriends were beautiful blondes. it's obvious that he is deeply insecure and felt like he had to prove himself. The father of Reeva's friend described how obsessive and controlling he is. maybe Reeva had had enough of his behavior, saw his true colors, and wanted to end the relationship, she might have told him she can be with someone better than him; something made him very upset. plus police said there were prior reports of domestic incidents at his home.

He should be in jail forever. Even if his ridiculous story was true, and he really believed it was an intruder behind that bathroom door, it is still MURDER !! He deliberately shot into a room several times, fully knowing that there was a person ! He deliberately shot several times at a person ! That is murder, no way round it ! He WENT there, to find that person, so there is no way he can claim it was self defense. It would be self defense if an attacker comes running towards him and there is no other way of stopping him than to shoot. But this is not the case here. It would be a "tragic mistake" if he had cleaned the gun and it went off. Or if he had shot into the air and somehow the bullet was reflected back and hit a person. But this is not the case here. He deliberately and intentionally shot at a person several times, killing this person. It does not matter at all if he thought it was a different person. If that is a defense in your eyes, great for all murderers. In the future they could just say that they thought it was someone else, and everybody goes like "oooh, that's ok then". Just imagine there really had been an intruder or someone else in that bathroom - well then Pistorius would have murdered an intruder ! Because it just damn isn't self defense when you search for someone, find where he is hiding, and then fire shots at him. That is called an EXECUTION, and not a "tragic mistake".

Sam I heard your heartbreaking testimony during Oscar's trial - darling, don't be sad that he cheated on you and your relationship ended - it could have been you laying dead on his bathroom floor - all things happen for a reason, now you know and should understand too well now, that reason. Give thanks and don't cry over him ! Cry for Reeva and her family & friends who have lost such a special and beautiful human being.

OP's story is ludicrous. There isn't an intruder in the world who would break into a house with all that security, alarms, dogs, guards, etc. and lock themselves in the bathroom! Outrageous lies. OP found texts/emails between Reeva and her ex (Valentine's Day, remember?) and went ballistic losing his temper as he did frequently and attacked her, she hid in the bathroom to get away from him and he shot and killed her through the door in a jealous rage. AND he never ascertained WHERE Reeva was before he fired FOUR SHOTS through the door. I mean, come ON.

I like him, but I honestly do not believe the intruder story he told for one moment. That story is absurd. I do believe that it was not premeditated, rather it was a crime of passion, he killed her in a moment of rage and impulse because he was extremely upset. This is what all the evidence is pointing to. Someone can be a hero and look like they have everything made, but inside they have flaws and insecurities just like any human. In one moment of blind anger, they can throw everything away.

Yes that is what happened. But because he is seen as a hero people don't want to believe that he has a dark side. It's obvious that there was a part of him he didn't show to most people. But that part of him existed, and Reeva has seen it before that fatal night, because there had been previous domestic disturbances at his house. Then came that night when he couldn't control his rage and it clouded his mind to the point where he did something that he can't take back.

no one is trying to "try him outside the courtroom". we're just saying his story stinks, and it's obvious that what happened that night was a result of a lover's quarrel gone wrong. if you want to believe his absurd story, then go right ahead. sure he didn't mean to kill her, it was a blind moment of rage, but definitely no accident. unfortunately, there is actually a chance that his fame and money will get him acquitted, just like what happened with many privileged people here in the states.

No one except he and his girlfriend were there. She's dead and his account is one-sided. So people who were not there will have to listen to the arguements and look at the evidence and come to some conclusion as to what really happened. From all the arguements and evidence shown so far...it looks like he knew his girlfriend was inside that locked room when he started shooting through the door...or he suffered from temporary insanity.

You do realise the "intruder" thing is just a ruse, right? There was only one person in terrible fear that night, and it was Reeva. Forget the "South Africa is a dangerous place" stuff, because he lived in a place so secure, that it is probably more secure than a South African jail, which is where he will end up. His security was guaranteed in his home, but Reeva's wasn't. Does he look afraid in The Seychelles? Nope.

a number of things actually. the girl in this video even tried to say a while back that he isn't the nice guy he appears to be. anything could have set him off that night, including Reeva texting a male friend. his stupid intruder story is absurd. it's dumb that people worship him so much they actually believe a bs story full of holes.
