That was very enjoyable. I love watching him come in last, I really love it!

Isn't he coming back again ? He's 25 now, will be 29 by the time the next olympics arrive. If the world doesn't end till then, that is.

He's the one who pushed paralympics in front of the public eye and challenged people to rethink what sports and success really should be about. Challenging yourself. Inspiring indeed. The horror that happened may overshadow his life and destroyed his legacy in most eyes (not mine). But paralympics has changed forever bc of him, gave disabled athletes the recognition they deserve.

LOL they don't :) ! Every one of sprinters has his own lane radius of which wider on the edge(very first) and more narrow to the center(very last) . As you can see they are not lined up at a straight line what makes the final distance the same because of the radius of the lane(circle) they were running by.

hats off..he is the greatest runner ver in history,,he was i second position..but while in the turnings,,its diffficult to keep balance with the blade...so he became behind.if he had legs ,,he would be the champion..

They don't really have an advantage because their curve is longer than those in lanes 1,2,3 and so on.

HE WAS SO CLOSE! If you look back, Femi Ogunode, the guy he beat in the last race to qualify for the semi-finals, ended up getting 4th and qualified for the finals while Oscar himself got last. If he had ran just as well as last time and beat Ogunode again, HE WOULD'VE QUALIFIED FOR THE FINALS!

Great run Oscar....seems you have to put in more effort than the other runners to get around the track...great on you...Olympian of Olympians...

@GayFlyingSquriell The runners on the oustide run got more distance to run when they get to round halves of the track. So they calculate the difference in dsiatnce on the circle and put further to overcome that difference.
