THE OSCAR | Best Picture Winners Through the Years: This video is a compilation of the films that have been awarded the OSCAR Award for Best Picture over the years. The first academy awards ceremony was held in 1929 in the Blossom room of the Hollywood Roosevelt hotel, awarding the award for outstanding film to Wings (1927). Since that year, the best films of all years have been awarded and increasing the categories. Until the day of publication of this video, 93 ceremonies have been held with Nomadland of the year 2020 as the last winner.
