By sweep its meant that the movie is only one of three to ever win all of the top five categories: best picture, director, actor, actress and screenplay. A movie can win ten or so Oscars but it’s exceptional and even historical when it takes every category that is rightfully regarded as the most coveted and pivotal.

Evil personified; Nurse Mildred Ratched. Loved her!!! Great film. One of the best. It happened one night where one flew over the Cuckoo's Nest and the lambs became silent.
