@@alanisyourhomie3002 Cool. So, you do know that your statement only applies to the Tokyo Blade arc. She'll be heavily involved in the next arc. Can't wait for ch 77-80. That's gonna be spicy.
Love the outro at first hearing. It's got a 90s grunge vibe to it and it sounds so good. The visuals are more like what I'd expect from a movie end credits instead of a tv episode (aspect ratio change probably plays a part in that). So good.
Notice how in the opening 1:49 Aqua is smiling, but 1:56 Ruby not really smiling, it feels like some things might happen where the way they feel switch places with each other , also how the ending is focused on Ruby and some sort of symbolism (which we don't know yet) is there. since you know Aqua is always gloomy and Ruby is always happy go lucky type of attitude
1:28 lmao as a manga reader, even up to this point, Ruby felt like she had no panel/screen time, and even more so for the majority of this season. That's why we got a ruby focused ED, to remind us that she still exists as a character.
Ruby has the main focus after Tokyo Blade arc though. Not only that but according to some sources there will be anime original Ruby scenes in season 2 aswell.
"That's why we got a ruby focused ED, to remind us that she still exists as a character." Uh, well, it also means that the anime's gonna be covering *those* chapters (*cough* 77-80).
"Will unlock another part of herself...." bro you cooking..... YOU ARE ON POINT lmao! This season will be the gateway for the most epic plot twist yet!
Tell me what's with Tatsuya Kitani and his openings with characters jumping off a building during the chorus part, same what happened here and in JJK OP 3. There's also one in Loser Ranger OP chorus drops and MC jumps down the sky minus the building, as well as in Bleach TYBW OP 1 with only the building minus the jumping part.
For now I like 1st season op more but that can change.... I dont know much about simbolism but I know what crows means (at least usually) + I am almost certain that I know what those door means so im skipping few lines They usually simbolizes death... sometimes general tragic event if I remember correctly so I am expecting someone to die + I think base on opening dark door in ED Ruby is about to discover some dark secret potentially awakening her dark side and go on Revenge path.
Seeing Ruby got more screen time in the OP but not this season.... At least better than showing Hikaru Kamiki glimpse to be spoilt. So, just take it that Ruby took more shots rather than audience got to know who Hikaru Kamiki is.
Ending definiting relating toward ruby finding out about the doctors death and her connect to the one who gave ruby a chance full fill her wish of being an idol. The crows and ruby dark side learning more that was hidden from her. The keychain of the docter that on her body. Death of past love yet doesn't know its aqua.
I very much like Your reaction to this Season Anime opening and ending. All of that give a certain vibe and I seriously appreciate it. UNDERNEATH THERE IS A MANGA SPOILER. Wait! A key chain?! Anime watchers: That's interesting. Manga readers: We know and oh sh*t! 😆They're gonna include THAT into this Season as well?!! Or is it just a big blue ball?! 🤣
Wait... (SPOILERS) : ; : ; That's THE Keychain?!! It makes much more sense now, I thought the Crow was picking a ring and I didn't understand the symbolism!! Nice!! I hope they include that in the season, but I hope they don't rush anything.
They are probablly going to end on chapter 80, which leaves on a interesting cliffhanger, but doesn't leaves the viewer too unsatisfied, or they could end it on chapter 79 which makes it too much of a cliffhanger imo. They did end season 1 on chapter 40, so they are keeping a similar pace. KIND OF SPOILERY Ending on a temple scene is perfect for an ending of a season in an anime imo.
It will most likely end on chapter 80, so we will have this scene and a few more. Also rewatch the opening because we see the girl that make the music video and her reaction to a certain thing.
Because normally crows eats dead corpse, so it symbolise death in a lot of religious/spiritual symbolisms all around the world, Japan folklore included.
This anime/manga had a lot of potential, ep 1 is a masterpiece, unfortunately after that it flops, at least for me, i think that instead of time skipping to Aqua attending school it would have been better to skip to the first day of Aqua becoming a detective and make the style of the anime a seinen
