Most of the time when men kept their wives away from family and friends,is not that they love and care to save their marriages but the main reason is about control. Men that does these kind of acts are very controlling and very abusive period! They do not want anyone around the wife before someone opens the wife eyes for her to know that this is not right,seek help before it is not late. May her soul rest in peace.

I know evil people when I see one, I think the sister made a mistake by not leaving the marriage, I can discern by his picture. He was jealous of his own wife's spirit. She was the backbone of the church, and deep inside him, he didn't like that, even though he loves her. It was a love hate relationship, and it always never ends well. I have been through this painful situation with my boyfriend and the only way out was to get out of the Country and disappeared in other to save myself.

It's not easy at all to leave without solid support...not just financial, but psychological and spiritual. Everyone is screaming leave, so easy to say, talk is cheap they say. Same people will run her down, call her names, tell her much of a failure she is, heap all the blame of the abuse on her. Any woman in an abusive marriage or relationship is usually already stripped of dignity, inner strength needed to survive the harsh world and very low in self esteem. Would the church have accepted her if she had left her marital home? They would have accused her of bringing the institution into disrepute because God hates divorce. How would she have taken care of her children since she was the bread winner . You can tell that her immediate family is not well to do and she didn’t want to add to her family burden. Well spoken. Osinachi chosed the part of death herself & demonstrated some atoms of stupidity. How could she let herself to be so humiliated that her mum and family couldn't visit her home? No Contact with her twin Sister or any one else? She go to shows and her Husband take money and give her little feeding money & use the rest to chill with other women? She was blindfolded by religion to answer Mrs out of stupidity. Concerning your question why men chose to live in separate rooms after Marriage, nothing is wrong there if the parties are OK that way. If not because Osi died, this whole issues won't come out. There are lots of reasons why a man can stay separate, if a woman snores like a truck, people like me won't stay with her in one room. I can never sleep with a partner who snores and sleeplessness can cause harm to health. Spiritually, some men don't like to share room with woman under menstruation. Some people are allergic to it because of some reasons, some claims it affects holiness, some says it damages their Cha*ms and so on. There are people who just like to stay alone and do all they want in private. So that one shouldnt be a big deal to consider. The big deal is the reason why Osinachi accepted such a hell in marriage and fail to seek helps when she was surrounded by helps. The Church and pastors were there, her parents, her Twin Sis, her neighbors, the police, the Court were all there but she didn't seek help. She failed to act in her situation which eventually took her life. Women should be careful in choices of men for marriage to avoid getting married to man with psychological or psychiatric issues.
