@@Ep-o I mean you are talking about the most talented beatboxers in the scene and tbh if you understand beatboxing or actually listen and break it down even without this video it’s understandable but it’s for those not willing to put 1..2..3.. sounds together in a combined sequence… also just because you haven’t heard many or any opponents doing others specials 1. Potential biting call out 2. Not their style 3. Not in their arsenal of sounds…. Ice for instance has a nasty nasty inward bass but do you hear him use it? Not yet in battles you or many others have seen… morale of this is Osis doing this sound in general gives away the sounds necessary to perform it just gotta think outside the Box

Yeah right? But tbh i was a bit confused by the texture of the sound as well, initially i thought it was just a falsetto lip oscillation with some weird distortion coming from the handheld mic (which i at the time didnt realize was the laser whistle)
@@MazeFrogBeatbox Tbh I think I was doing the lip oscillation with minor whistle just from the air being pushed out but noticed no power of the initial laser/whistle.. I know how to do many variations of whistles aswell and do lip oscillation whistles/lasers just kind of for fun lol also trying to mimic birds outside 😂.. And I’d have a more in depth explanation myself and not just sounding like peon but explaining things through chat is hard AF

12:01 Great tutorial but think you skipped the final crucial step of how to do the lazer whistle while your lips are oscillating, since the lazer whistle relies on the bottom lip placement to perform?
I ended up learning the ralik whistle (see Heartzel's tutorial) which doesn't need the lips at all, so then combined that with vocals and lip oscillation to get a sound very close to this one. Took practice to get the whistle to a lower pitch than he default ralik whistle which is quite high pitched.

Hey bro, just wondering, can u do rayul's lip bass? If yes, then pls make a tutorial on it. Rayul has a video about this sound, but it's literally just "make a duck position, blow air", the most obvious thing ever to say 😭. The problem is that there are tons of ways how to blow air and what muscles in your lips to focus on and I struggle with this part. It's a type of sound that to some comes naturally and some stuggle with it for weeks, but I believe that it can be explained deeper than Rayul did. Idk whom to ask, most people just say obvious things, they don't actually study the sounds they make, but u seem to be kinda nerdy in beatboxing haha. So if u could explain this sound, that would be great

Hey can i ask you about throat bass (i still learning), is it normal when u start to learn throat bass and then u cough like when u choking on spit ( btw are throatbass suppose to be higher than normal talking voice)
Yeah, it's quite normal. Just dont go past your limits and tr not to hurt yourself. ❤ In the beginning your throat bass may be a little higher pitched, but then it will later be more confortable to do lower notes
I was able to learn this in 3 days, just needed to know which whistle it was lol. It’s such an interesting sound cause at first putting the whistle behind the lip bass feels so weird and impossible but then randomly it just works. Idk
u got any tips for putting it together? i can do the whistle itself, but for me the lip oscilation feels impossible ontop of it, since the bottom lip is a main part of the whistle and i dont get how to move it withiut losing the whistle
how do you do the whistle and lip bass at the same time???? I'm struggling so hard with this part, when i try to move my lips into position for any oscillation the whistle stops
U need to learn how to do laser whistle in the position of inward tooth whistle and from there u try to add the lip bass where I am stuck right now because as soon as I add lip bass the whistle stops I also don't know the laser whistle in the position of inward tooth whistle but I practice and u can also get that loud sound within a week And u manage to get the sound pls let me know how u combine them.

Hello! I have a problem, as of rn theres a gap between 2 of my teeth (braces are doing weird stuff) and air escapea there, and I cant cover it with my tongue, does that mean I cant to the laser whistle yet?
It depends on where the gap is and how big it is i think. From my experience, when i first learned this whistle i had a major gap between my 2 front teeth and i had braces also, and it worked
