It might be cold, but Scandinavia has the advantage of the gulf stream. It should be warmer than the cold waters of Anchorage. I've never been so I wouldn't know. :)
What catches the eye: the locals are really mostly fair-haired, as befits the Vikings. There are a lot of blacks and Chinese - what they forgot there in the north is a mystery to me. Pleased with the abundance of greenery, it is much more in this city than even in the cities of southern Europe. In general, the city aroused positive emotions. It's nice to rumble on the streets with a beer in your hand.
Vikings doesn’t exist anymore🤣🤣🤣 And blonde hair originated in Siberia Asia, not Scandinavia. Historically Norwegians has always been dark haired, proven by DNA and historical accounts. As a Norwegian hairdresser I can tell you most people bleach/color their hair as for whatever reason blonde hair is the beauty ideal originated among racists and Nazis. Naturally blonde hair is rare just like red heads and ginger. Also it’s Oslo, a tons of tourists. And to say they are all “blacks and Asians” is bot only discriminatory but also generalizing. It’s not many Chinese people here. Mostly Thai, Viet, Filipinos, Paki, Desi etc.
