Osmeña Peak at SUNRISE, The Views are EPIC Philippines!! 🇵🇭 

Way back in 1973, there was no trail of any kind when we climbed that peak. I remember there was a lot of loose crystalline rocks along the way and slipped numerous times. Now, at age 65 I still want to go back there when I retire in the Philippines. and hopefully claim a record as the oldest man to conquer Osmena peak.

Mergim you are literally standing at the highest peak of Cebu. I've never seen Osmeña peak at sunrise, this is magnificent, and the drone shots are sick! You really captured the beauty of Osmeña peak.

I believe Jeremiah needs a very good stretching. I am happy that you found new friends worth tagging along with. They are both characters of their own respective ways. Their presence makes your videos more relatable.

I can feel the intensity/pressure of this hike while watching. Way to go Mergim, what a clutch to catch that breathtaking (literally) sunrise. And without any sleep? I'm impressed. Bravo!

This is the fourth Osmeña Peak vlog i've seen. i think you're right that this is the first one showing it at sunrise. I think it's also the best one i've seen, even without the sunrise. So well done! ... And that baby calf at the end is a nice bonus. It was so dang cute! ♥🐮♥

what a chase for the sun. wow. incredible indeed. I've witnessed multiple sunrises from the beach but barely from a mountain peak. i only had one but not comparable to that at osmeña peak.

That was cool - your cinematic, Sir David Attenborough moment at the top of the peak, preceded by the Bear Grylls, race-to-the-top, climb up - that was fantastic! I really enjoyed the unscripted moments of this episode, too. That girl, though, Lexy (?), was the boss. She dusted all you guys!

Good thing its already an established trail for you guys... before its really difficult to climb. Can't barely see the trails or you might get slip easily on sharp rocks

Wow, that view from the peak was amazing! I think you should not do a hike without any sleep. Luckily, it was a short trail but no sleep would mean that your reflexes and alertness is a bit off and might be dangerous. Anyway, your video was great and you were able to see sunrise from the peak! Looking forward for your next video!

@Mergim....You should climb another epic peak, called Kandungaw Peak, around the area, on the same mountain range (Badian Mountain Range) but located at the northeastern edge of the range where the precipice of the peak plunges vertically down to the green lush valley dotted with farming villages and farms. It's the most epic of the triumvirate of peaks in Badian Mountain range. These are: Osmena Peak, Casino Peak and Kandungaw Peak. Kandungaw Peak is about 19 kilometers due north of Osmena Peak via a well-paved mountain road. Casino Peak is a just a short hop south of Osmena Peak (maybe about 1 kilometer away).

The way you gasp for air reminds me of my hike in January this year. Due to covid, pretty much all outdoor activities that I did before were taken out of my system (basketball, jogging, hiking) and on top of that my weight increase from 65 kg to 81 kg. And man, hiking again after being out of shape is one of the most exhausted I've ever felt in my life hahaha. I'm just so thankful right now that everything is slowly going back to normal (includes my body weight, now 74 kg) and I can do some outdoor activities again. Btw, this is the first time I've seen Osmena Peak in a drone shot and during sunrise. It looks absolutely beautiful but what I shame that the breakfast you had was an instant noodles, that would have been perfect with a full british meal, a beef tapa with egg or a beef bulalo. Haha
