oi Amy ,arrepios e muita saudades meu Love que partiu há 5 anos ele amava essa música ele era de uma sensibilidade a flor da pele eu o amava muito essa música fez parte de toda nossa convivência 💞
Streets ahead of the Hollies in harmony and quality had the fortune of briefly meeting the Osmond boys in Birmingham in my workplace they are brilliant musicians and perfect gentlemen
I also got lucky at Zuma beach in Southern California on an icky, cold day. All the brothers were together wearing their colorful costumes while filming for the Donny and Marie show. The only people there, besides The Osmonds, was the film crew. During breaks, I got to talk with each of them and was on cloud 9 for months after that. As you've said, and I also experienced was that each of them were perfect gentlemen.
50 years and we still compare The Osmonds and the Jackson family. It wouldn't have been the same without both of the families. I was a Jackson 5 fan but as the years went by I came to appreciate the Osmonds. Both families worked hard and the kids kinda gave up their childhood to entertain millions and millions of fan's.
I too know what it's like to *"Give Up"* childhood "moments of potential fun" . . . . I grew up singing in "The Traveling Heirs/The Tielking Family". We may not have "made it BIG", but I know, looking back now after the passing of my dad: Norman (2003), mom: Louise (2018) & sister: Grace (2010) that we all *TOUCHED THE LIVES OF A WHOLE LOT OF PRECIOUS PEOPLE!!!* Now that's what music's *ALL ABOUT!!!!*
I grew up with you guys and Donny and Marie! You all were always an inspiration to me. You always put so much feeling in your songs! Thank you for your love for your fans all these years! I, for one, love all of you! It feels like your family is also my family! We are all family in Christ Jesus! 🥰🥰
What is it that makes you cry & weep & feel *"THAT SPECIAL FEELING"* when bands like *"The Osmonds"* sing? > ❤💛💙💜💚 I'll tell you what it is:::::::: *Heart ~ Soul ~ Spirit ~ Family* ^^^^^^^ Now *THAT'S REAL MUSIC!!!* Heaven bless! ~ Benjamin Tielking
I have always liked and enjoyed most of the Osmond's songs and I think they are very talented. I, however have an issue with this idea that this song is their 'theme song' The song was originally recorded by Kelly Gordon in 69. Written by Bobby Scott and Bob Russel..who both died of cancers at a fairly early age. Russel was actually dying from lymphoma while collaborating on the song. I would have liked them to at least give the song writers a shout out instead of making it about themselves. The song has been recorded by many artists, however the Allan Clarke (The Hollies 11/69) will reign as the best from now until time stops. Graham Nash had just left Hollies before recording this song, but Elton John was a studio musician sat in that day and played piano on it.
