The logo/wordmark on the previous version of this bag was perfect, I hate that they reverted to the usual front-and-center big contrast logo approach. Comfort was lacking for me though, and doesn't seem to be substantially improved in this version.
Thank you for watching and I definitely agree on the logo, it really sticks out a lot and I was also a little sad the comfort wasn’t the same on this as many of the other osprey bags I’ve tested out!
Great review! I have one question on the two shoulder straps. Both are attached togheter in the middle. Do you think that this materiale could affect the comfort behind the neck in a daily usare? Thanks
Thank you for watching and yea I can see some similarities especially with the more minimal / classic aesthetic, but I would say the quality on this one may be a little higher :)
Thank you for watching! I would say the bag offers water resistance (especially the versions that aren’t the hemp that was used on the bag in this video) but they won’t be fully waterproof. Overall the bag is great and if you got caught in some light rain it would likely be fine, but any heavy rain and water might start to seep in
Thank you for watching and definitely a tough choice! Both bags are great but I personally might lean a bit towards the bellroy bag as it is more comfortable and has a slightly better laptop sleeve IMO. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags!:)
@@dannypacks I have the same problem trying to decide what backpack to get. Great video really like the hemp version. It’s so hard to decide what is the best backpack. So many options. I like the looks of this bag and simple organization. I would prefer a bag under 20L I don’t need something large just want a nice small bag. I have been looking at the bellroy classic COMPACT 16L backpack and I love the looks of some of aers new bags they are very sweet on the eyes. The city pack 14L looks nice any thoughts on these options I have mentioned would be really appreciated 🙏🏻
I have a macbook pro 16 inch, have you had any issues with you laptop having dings or is it have really good cushioning? because i dont not want to ruin my 3k laptop and my 2k ipad pro haha
Thank you for watching and good question! So far I haven’t had any issues and although it’s not the most padded laptop sleeve on the market it is suspended and the sleeve feels padded enough that I’m not worried about my device. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag!:)
Thank you for watching! The fabric didn’t attract mint more so than other materials, definitely better than some of the 500d fabrics I’ve used (the lighter color also helps a bit).
Thank you for watching! That’s a compressible packing cube from arcido, not sure if it’s still available so I’ve been using the peak design packing cubes lately
