Yeah, this is an outstanding demo for the pack. I just got one and immediately questioned how to open the 'sealed' top as I didn't want to damage it. Your video showed me exactly what I needed to see. Thank you very much! Namaste!
Girl, your review is almost flawless! Only thing I wish you show was placing a filled hydration pack on a loaded backpack. Great communication skill. Thank you for sharing.
Wow! What a great review - clearly the best that I have seen on the Osprey bladder. I wish that I had seen your review a week ago before my new Osprey blader arrived. I thought that the stuck mouth was a problem and wondered if I should return it. I was concerned that my exertions on trying to open it the first time would tear the plastic and prevent me from returning. Congratulations on a perfect review of a product.
I’m so glad you mentioned about the difficulty opening when it’s brand new. I thought I had either gotten a defective one or I was going to break it! I guess they do that for sanitary reasons, but it’s really scary!
Excellent review! Looks like a well thought out product that I will use on upcoming motorcycle travel. Been using an Osprey backpack for 8 years...good stuff.
Thanks for uploading the video, it answers most of my questions🙂 except two: first, do you think it can be used with other rucksack brands? And second, is there any safety features that would prevent the hose from getting disconnected by accident inside the rucksack and water leaking, (a valve system). Regards, Florin
@@Chief-CO hey, it has never disconnected itself from the bladder, once clicked it stayed that way, if yours for some reason got disconnected it must be something wrong with the valves on both ends. I think that's a fantastic bladder, I've used it on multi-day trekking and once again it'll be tested in the Arctic Cercle this summer. Regards, Florin
Mine came and wasn’t connected to EITHER side. And I also can’t remove the plug to be able to thread the hose through one of the two sides. In this video she says “all you have to do is remove this clip and rethread it”. But I can’t get it out…
I find it worth while. Bottles are good but I have to keep taking off my bag to grab it, drink and put back. Sometimes out of laziness, I avoid hydrating so that I don’t have to stop and go through the dance. The bladder makes it easy.
Thank you so much! Quick question: I have the Sirrus 24 and I can't figure out how the magnet is supposed to work on the chest strap to keep the hose in place while hiking. Anyone know?
your water bladder is empty. Can you do the same demonstration with bladder filled? I tried to put 2L bladder in 24L rucksack but it's too tight to put in.
I have this pack as well but for some reason, the attachment piece of my hose doesn’t click as easily as yours does. Does anyone else have this issue? It took me forever to disassemble it for a cleaning and now the hose won’t attach in that center click section. Kind of frustrating because I only got a few uses out of it :(
