I would have liked to see all the zippers and how they are fitted, to show the possibilities of this duffle. I do miss sidepockets for shoes, socks or other small stuff. Therefore I switch to the EAGLE CREEK CARGO HAULER.

Has anybody tried to use this as a seat pack on a motorcycle?

I was wondering whether the transport 95 or the 65 is suitable for a trekking / camping trip for say 5 days to 1 week In cold weather considering heavy jackets and warm clothes have to be carried. Could you pls clarify.

Thanks for asking! Although the Transporter has backpack straps, it does not have a suspension system or hipbelt to support the weight. The backpack straps are convenient for carry the bag during shorter transportation periods, but would not be recommended for long distance backpacking.

The Osprey Porter 65 is a travel pack of similar size with a framesheet and hipbelt. The whole front opens like a duffel and the entire carry system - harness and hipbel- can stow away. Check it out here: www.enwild.com/osprey-porter-65-2020.html

I've never liked traditional backpack straps because my breasts although small, always feel in the way. I much prefer the gearslinger style straps on bags and duffles.

That depends on how much you pack. But the Transporter is a great bag and 65 liters ought to provide enough space for most travelers.

Does this 65L qualify as a carryon, or is it too big and needs to be checked in?

Hi Tony! The Transporter 65 Duffel will be a little too large to use a a carry on bag with most airlines. Best advice is to check the dimensions with what is allowed by the airline you plan on using: 23.6H X 14.2W X 12.6D (inches)

I have used it repeatedly as a carryon with nothing but success. however it is always possible you will run into a "weanie" with a tape measure. ;-)

"short weekend getaway".. so im assuming this bag wouldnt work for a 2 week trip to thailand

Truth is, capacity requirements are specific to each traveler's needs. 65L is a sizable amount of space and can definitely work for a 2 week trip. Ultimately, it comes down to how much one needs to pack for a trip. Vague answer, we know, but hopefully that helps!
