Here is a review of my Osprey UNLTD Backpack. This is the most expensive backpacking bag in the world! Osprey backpacks have taken all their knowledge and experience and put it all into creating this Osprey Unltd 64 Anti Gravity backpack bag.
This Osprey backpack uses the Osprey anti gravity back system. To me it’s the most comfortable system you can buy for carrying weight. The trade-off is a higher pack weight but I promise you it pays dividends later when carrying the backpack fully loaded.
The Osprey backpacking bag has lots of innovative features. I love the clamshell design with duel access. The 3D printer by carbon lumbar support really does help you lower back.
Whatever you think of this pack, it’s great to see backpacking gear companies pushing themselves and pushing the limits of camping gear.

I treated myself to this pack last year, and have to agree with you - it is truly awesome. So comfortable, easily adjustable and very functional. I love the clean look of it too and all the other amazing features. Yes its expensive, yes other rucksacks can do similar things - but this is like the luxury SUV of backpacking and well worth it for the long term investment for backpacking, camping and travel in general. The only downside (apart from price) is that it takes some consideration in terms of best packing for mulitiday backpacking/camping. i.e you can't just cram everything down as with traditional sack, but on the plus side if kit is organised well, the easy access to stuff more than makes up for it. enjoy it 👍

I own the Airscape 68 , in Australia, it’s the best pack ever for a long trips eg;3 days or more. The most comfortable pack ever with loaded weight in it. Usually about 18kg with three litters of water. At the end of the day my feet hurt from carrying the extra weight but my upper body is as fresh as I started. Yes I transferred from the atmos 65 to this pack. It really is the next level of comfort. I agree get your head around the fact that its 2.5kg but its 2.5kg of comfort not 1kg with pain and limitations from ultra lights. We’ll done Osprey.

Which is more comfortable? Airscape or this anti gravity version ?

I've got the Airscape UNLTD 68 and about to put it to serious use over the coming Autumn. I hate the fact most people are obsessed with the pricetag and yes I agree it is ridiculously priced but i went mad after receiving a cancer all clear. Big treat to myself. I suppose in hindsight I should have just gone for the Atmos but we're all guilty of the occasional moment of weakness... A thing of beauty it is though.

If you are paying 200 dollars for a sleeping pad, 500-600 dollars for a tent & 300-500 for a quilt or sleeping bag why not pay 700 dollars for a pack? If you're buying the best in all you other gear why not buy the best pack?

I have it over over a year now. It is comfy practical for urban travel, like eurorail travel inbetween cities or quicky weekend air jumps visiting cities of Europe. I bougth it for 480€, at that time my Atmos 64 was 280€ and there is not a big difference in the price regarding it is a basic tool carrying stuff artound. Weighting both, I found that Atmos is 400 g lighter, removing brain even 620 g lighter, which is the weight of my winter mat. So I kept Atmos as my basic multidays hikes rucksack.

Thank you for sharing I've seen so many reviews on this unjustified expensive backpack from a world known brand and all agreed it's not worth a dime I mean not because of the backpack itself but the price is simply out of this world , the Osprey AG 65 that is around $250 does the same fonctionality as this one , for $700 you can buy so many equipment for your hiking adventure, I believe Osprey attempt on this backpack was a huge mistake it should have been at max $300 not $700 for my side I've purchased Gregory zulu 55 Halo Blue and I'm so happy with it, osprey should revise the price.

Firstly, allow me this opportunity to say 'great review' and thank you. Unfortunately Osprey 'lost' ALL my interest when the price was mentioned. 🤔Mmnnn! Now let me think... Would I spend £650.00 on a 'back-pack' (no matter how comfortable it may be?). A simple, quick and easy answer: NO, so I won't be rushing out to buy one in the near future - LOL - But hey! Look at the positives... 😃I'm still smiling and am £650 richer👍

I see it as 1) Osprey innovating and 2) Osprey testing the water to see how much people are prepared to pay for a backpack.
@mojaslovenija9903

Interesting that the price in UK is higher than in EU. I have got it for 480€ last year, but the price jumped as today to 560€. For someone who is traveling or hiking regulary the price is trivial as the price difference is only a cost of a dinner for a couple in the downtown, but for someone using is only couple times per year I would suggest as the example the Deuter Vario which is exactly with same loading system, price of 200 € and weight of only 1.8 kg. I switched from Deuter to Osprey because of Antigravity system which is realy very comfy.

I would spend £650 on this backpack IF my intention was to haul 20kg+ around the world. Otherwise; it's simply not worth it (imo). If you're doing 3 day hikes; there are much more suitable & much cheaper options, as I'm sure everyone already knows.
