0 time spores means its basically efficient to train underwater agility, so you are getting this crafting xp/hr and also getting ehp while gathering the supplies.
Ironman tip! Necklace of passage will be your fastest access to a fairy ring up until slayer ring or quest cape. Fastest way I've found to get jades is starting the digsite quest and panning for them. Can easily get 80-100 an hour with a bit of luck which should last you all the way till slayer rings. Great way to craft cosmics is teleport to wizards tower then run south to fairy ring, once done bank(using dueling or games necklace) and repeat. (As fast, maybe couple seconds slower than abyss but much safer)
Little tip for maintaining oxygen levels in the thieving minigame. Deposit your fishbowl helmet into the pile. When you're passing through the area to reach the shortcuts or new chest, just grab fishbowl, equip it, then click the pile to deposit it again. It instantly restores oxygen level to 100%
Lol I had it on 1.25x speed the first time I watched and it sounded like him even more. I seriously tought about it. Ben Shapiro owns noobs on runescape with facts and logic!
Yeah, it really is worth doing for sure. And if after 5 hours of recording and rerecording because I didn't like the way it sounded, I'll take one vocal mistake lol.
when you do glassmake with only two seasweed you get 1.3 glass per bucket of sand. when you do it with three, you get 1.6 or something. not 100% on the numbers but you get more resources by casting it with three vs. 2 and just picking up the excesss
This may be a little late, but if you don't want to do the agility minigame for spores, you can just afk by the seaweed patches and 1-3 spores will spawn pretty often. It's what I did on my ironman for my first 2 spores and usually I'll get enough spore spawns during my seaweed runs that it's all self-sufficient.
I have done a little seaweed farming, but haven't unlocked lunars on my ironman yet so haven't really delved into it much.... but I had NO IDEA there was this whole load of other shit down there underwater! Literally i was so surprised to see that agility/theiving method!
Any low/mid level irons who dont wanna waste all the law runes with bucket of sand, use the sand pit in entrana, get the buckets from the tool leprechaun and bank at the deposit box in port sirim. i can do 1000 buckets an hour doing this.
PLEASE READ ---> Killing lobstrosities is a better method to get seaweed spores. You can use a trident, magic, or brine saber to kill them. They drop 5 spores 1/20
Honestly my Ironman got super stale due to the immensity of the 75-85 crafting grind for a fury. This update makes me so incredibly happy! I didn't know they did this months ago!
@@zily7866 It is quick now yeah. I didn't say it wasn't fast, i said it was super stale, in other words incredibly dull. Also im curious what you mean by "midgame pvm grinds" because anything worth PvM grinding is not "midgame".
Just a quick heads up for the spores. They spawn random around the two patches as well. I just stood around there and hopped for 10 minutes and I already got like 12. That might be faster than actually doing the minigame. No XP though.
Hey great video! Is this method still good? I haven’t kept up with the updates. I’m about to try this method and was wondering if there is anything I should change or do differently than the exact method in this video. Thanks fam.
Its more effective to kill lobstrosities for the spores now, and you will see some randomly spawn while farming, but the method other than obtaining the spores is still meta
You're probably gonna atleast tripple the ammount of molten glass per hour by doing 2 seaweeds at a time, if you're quick at banking. Takes way too long to pick them up.
what is the crafting xp per superglass make cast? on the wiki it says it maxes out at 130 crafting xp per cast but you're clearly getting more if you're getting 258 total xp drops
Now if they could just make a faster way to get buckets of sand other than charters. Yes you can manually fill them, but you need to have empty buckets.
Bone voyage but i think this is a little outdated i believe seaweed spores now spawn down in the water every once in awhile so thats probably more efficient
btw using ultracompost instead of paying numulite. I have grown like 4-5k giant seaweed never payed any numulite and only like 4-5 times have one of the plants died. way easier also probably more known but using camelot teleport and pvp world for collecting sand is quick bank 2 steps away! dont bring alot of laws though scrub pkers sometimes
Its pretty fast, and fairly afk once you are there. With the ardy diaries done, you should gain some passively as well, like the 11k or so I had banked.
im pretty sure you can just use a fishbowl and diving apparatus and not need to worry about oxygen levels underwater, thats what i do when i do my seaweed runs though im not sure how that may impact the rates at which u get the stuff
How is this 200k/hour? can someone math? also 512 seeds~ 2 per hour is 256 hours invested into crafting just to get this number? seems good if you're going for 99 but imagine doing hourly scape for 12 straight days on your iron just to be efficient at crafting... 51m xp gained in total.
yeah, seaweed spores have gone up quite a bit since that post on twitter, but they are still far cheaper and faster to farm than magic trees so, i would say its worth the investment
Not that I can forseeably think of. You can't rag people at this course, and you can't really rag someone who is farming, so I doubt there would be any issues at all.
"I already have one btw". Nah it wont. It may increase the numbers slightly but who cares honestly. The farming pet is one of the rarest pets in all of RuneScape, being much much rarer than all of the other skilling pets combined, and the average rate is something insane like 60m farming xp. Even if you did Sea Weed runs like 10 times a day it would still take an average of like 3m xp in just seaweed alone, which would still take several thousands of runs. So even if you are an extremely avid pet hunter and do Sea weed as much as possible every day, its still going to take a long long time to get this pet lol. A very slight buff to the rate is honestly warranted considering how insanely rare it is compared to the rest of the skilling pets.
I mean, imo pets are just cosmetic anyway. They are definitely cool, and definitely big goals for certain people, but I don't see much of an issue with more people obtainined one of the (now stupidly high amounts) of pets that exist in this game.
Also, I too already have the pet, 2 times on this account, and I'm not even 99. But me having it or not having it doesnt really impact the game at all =P
Exactly. I'm just saying even if someone did do this as much as possible, the rate is still ridiculously high, and this wont make a huge impact to a point where its the new Heron or some shit lol. It's still going to be the rarest skilling pet by far.
