Have 3k kills but still had to watch. On that pet grind . Another tip to anyone who's struggling with the ghosts, watch your prayer bar/orb. When you see it drop, that's your timing to switch to the next according prayer!
@@dahleno2014 its easy xD just roll a few spliffs and chat with the cc while running supplies. chill af dont even have to look what the ghosts are doing just eat through that shit
Thanks for uploading a fresh video for bossing, it's nice to check back and re-jog my memory. Been off on a break for a few months now so good video to get people back up to speed with the game.
at first, i was so happy to hit 91 slayer and try a new boss - and a great money maker. Then i realized you have to have a 56m shield before you're allowed to do it. great.
Yee for those reading this, a spectral shield really only ups your kph. It does save you some resources related to prayer points, but all in all it's by no means a requirement. You don't need 100s of mil worth of gear to do this efficiently.
You are slayermusiq1 of bossing. Thanks to you i finished Zulrah and now after watching this one i instantly got two kills when i previously struggled to get one. Thanks alot!
You either have to do the ghost skip (not recommended. kills take a long time) or just tank the damage without the spectral. You'll lose 30 prayer points per ghost, but as along as you pray correctly, you won't take the damage from the ghosts. I did many Cerb kills without the spectral. It's not too bad.
Out of curiosity why do you use bandos with scythe instead of inquisitor? Just cost or cause defense? Cause i noticed for me personally after switching off bandos to inquistor i was taking much more damage than bandos so thats main reason i was curious on your choice.
The top 3 best weapons are Scythe -> inquisitors mace -> arclight. The bludgeon can be used if you don’t have an arclight, but the arclight is very easy to get and better. Id suggest getting one if you don’t have it.
@@AsukaYenOSRS i do have one was just wondering if the bludgeon was better considering it also uses crush. thanks for the info. only problem now is getting the shield. have just enough for one but don't wanna empty my entire cash stack for it lol.
i thought you had to flick his attacks all the time. like when hes just auto attacking and stands up you have to flick ranged, but i always take dmg.. so you only flick the combo? (and ghosts ofc)
I play on a restricted account with no arclight or hasta and I defo cant afford spectral yet. Can you give me a melee weapon progression order please. The rest of your guide will be very helpful but im kinda stuck. I have BGS for spec, tent whip/normal whip, leaf bladed axe and cudgel in bank. I can scrape enough for bludgeon probably but it would be close? Or would be using 1 of the other weapons other than bludgeon and saving for spectral before even attempting? I plan on going for 1k kc tho so any advice would be great.
My only question is: How is it viable to waste the bloodfury? You're already losing money with this task if you don't get drops, why bleed yourself even more? I feel like the best guide for this boss is to block it straight up.
Coulda used this a few months ago when i was grinding out cerb on my ironman lol. Good guide. I am going to grind this out on my main too to get the pet, im just gonna get inquisitors first and im about 600m off. So soon i'll be there.
is archlight really better than bludgeon? i'm starting out so i'm a noob, but bludgeon seems to hit a lot harder and a lot more often than the arclight when i tested'em, am i just wrong?
It depends on your stats, but there's not much in it. With the beginner gear setup shown in the video, arclight is 2.74% better dps with max stats (when used on controlled stab style). If your stats are lower, say 75 attack and 90 strength, then arclight is still better but only by 0.29%. If you're an ironman, bludgeon is not wroth going out of your way for (unless you plan on doing nightmare). If you're not an iron, sell the blugeon for other gear upgrades and use your arclight. Only use case I can see for the bludgeon anymore at cerb is if you're a limited account build that doesn't want to gain defence xp. Even then, the margins are thin.
You might save mils, but because of the extended kill time, you’re most likely losing money based on average drop rates and comparing the kill times to a normal, non-skip kill.
@@AsukaYenOSRS yeah you’re right for sure, but there’s also the convenience factor. Soul skip makes cerb almost as easy as kraken, and you don’t need a spectral either. Great guide overall btw, just thought this was an underrated method worth mentioning.
Because he’s showing how he does it. He obviously doesn’t use a low tier setup. He even had a section where he showed his setup and what he would be doing the example kill with, so idk what you were expecting
@@aska221 Well I don’t think anyone is advising to do it with a rune scimmy but it can certainly be done with a bludgeon or an arclight, which basically any account will have by 91 slayer
yeah, arclight is busted on cerb after they made cerb count as a demon, it's better than abyssal bludgeon too afaik, scythe is the only melee weapon that beats it.
Nah. Take food and focus on Max dps. Cerberus has a low defense level and doesn’t hit super high. With practice you can get a lot of kills per trip on only super combats and sharks or better.
What are you on about bro? - He already had a Cerb guide, but instead of laziness and complacency, he’s renewing his guides. Also, a recent change did drastically alter the Cerb meta (you would know if you actually had 91 slayer and some overall game knowledge), so this new guide is quite well timed.
@@michaelandmoecams8020 - Epic how? (We must’ve got very different ideas regarding what epic means). Nonetheless I’ll just let this one go. From your original post you just seemed like the normal salty RU-vid commenter, and I didn’t think Asuka deserved that. If it was some kind of inside joke, then obviously my bad.
Fury for the low tier set is just more affordable. The blood fury for higher tier setups has a chance to heal you based on damage dealt. Makes trips last longer.
Bruh, there is a huge gap between your medium and high tier set up.... literally you go from ~ 100m set up to > 1 bil with nothing to offer in between. Crappy equipment guide
It's quite good equipment guide. Just because he has 1bil gear doesn't mean you have to have EVERYTHING he does. You can upgrade medium gear with blood furry, ferocious gloves, primordial boots, avernic instead of dragon defender. None of these upgrades will cost you 1b.
Considering your thumbnail says it's the best damn cerb guide, it's kinda sad to see you didn't include the fact that the timing of flicking ghosts, is when you see the prayer being drained.
@@AsukaYenOSRS But it's something that was mentioned in another content creators video, that made it stand out to a lot of people in terms of timing. So not bringing that to the table is kind of sad to see
