Indigo suffruticosa has naturalized on Ossabaw Island, Georgia. It has been growing on Ossabaw's north end since the 1760s. This is a film talking about the processing the plant to dye product.
After you get the indigo pH to 10 and let the indigo precipitate out......what are the next steps....I cannot find any clear instructions on what to do next...almost everything online just says add indigo powder and a reducing agent....I really appreciate the video it's awesome....I'm in Savannah and grow Ossabaw Indigo...I just don't know what to do after it sits to get it to dye the cloth.
