:p This was Definitly a freelancer That Made proportions in this -,- Why Jubilife? SandGem would have been too small to New. Should Have been Either Celestial or Hearthrom
Yeah I felt the same way. I wasn't always super attached to Jubilife's Theme but considering this is what greets you after wrapping up the main story, it was the first time this familiar melody made me teary eyed.
This theme…this was the first Pokémon game I played since my mom passed away she had passed late august 2021 to covid …when this theme hit it was like a warm blanket from her…as if she was still around idk..as a kid I’d show her all my games and she like the jubilife city theme so..when I heard it it was like she sent it to me.
same my mom bought me my first ds with platinum years ago and she passed away march 2021 and even now listening to this song is so poignant how much it reminds me of her and my childhood. So much love went into making this song and for some reason it makes me happy how even if we have nothing else at least we have the memories. we’re probably both just overly emotional individuals because of you know… trauma, but pokemon really knows how to tug at your heartstrings. I’m rambling, just wanted to say I really resonate with what you said and I hope you’re doing well
Pops Dec 2021 gone from covid as well😔the day before my sister birthday 5 days before Christmas...they will always be here with us no matter what! Last game for us was aragami 2...got great music as well and the last game I got to play with him and my son together
Platinum was my first Pokémon game so this felt like a return to my childhood. And I'm so glad it did because... that other game felt like a desecration of my childhood. I'd have given up on the new games entirely if not for PLA.
When I got to this point in the game, I didn't think the music would change from the middle version. But thankfully, I managed to start a quest in the village that let me get a bit into the song, and when I heard that original Jubilife melody kick in... I tell ya, that's the closest this game has gotten to making me legit tear up. (I'm admittedly tearing up listening to it now.) I didn't think the game would go all the way, but it fuckin' did! It's so beautiful! 😭
@@Zachkoone of my least favorite pkm games. I hate team plasma and all this medieval themed things. And the story is imo completely overhyped these days to hate on the new games. Everyone has their own taste.
Same here, the abysmal Scarlet and Violet took away that hope...I hope the Legens series continues I'm tired of the mainline games, they're never any good.
Now THIS is how you make video game music. It's gotta fit in the game's setting (time or place,) sound good without getting repetitive or boring, maybe change or evolve as the game progresses, and sometimes even call back to a previous title in it's franchise. This is stellar!
The Plaid sweatshirt Memesaunce Is real bro 😿 Mabey it was Never any Different Given...Directory Givin, But in True Aer Spirit Carries anything but Joy. No Mirror Reflecting any Beauty at all Reflects anything but Deffening silence to the Ill Reposed unaware How wrong they truly are.
For me, is genius how they developed the theme of Jubilife Village into a more similar version of the Jubilife City theme at the end of the story: just in the moment villagers started to realize they can live together with Pokémon. Even though I started my Pokémon journey in Johto, I loved this game and its music so much.
2021: My friend convinces me to buy this game, i listen to him and when i start playing i realise its really good. We played it a lot together and created many memories 2023: I start playing it again, i walk into Jubilife village and start crying when i hear the music play, for we have grown distant. Same game, same music, but no friend. I miss you Michael
😭 i had a friend once too we were both moving but we thought we would see each other again in middle school but i never did and still think of him sometimes he was literally the best friend i'd ever had and i wish i could find him again but i guess thats the way it was suppose to turn out 😭😭
This was maybe the most emotional part for me. when I walked into the village and heard it I just felt like a kid again. For perhaps ond last time I was free to be a kid again, innocent to enjoy the world.
Still weird how this song evokes a nostalgic feeling like we've played this game far longer than it has been. And no it's not just because it's a variation of Jubilife City, when I played Shining Pearl, I didn't have that nostalgic sense hearing the original. This variation just somehow brings something hidden out.
This song makes me want to get on my Nintendo and play Pokémon arceus, it’s so pretty and I love the game so much. It’s so calming and reminds me of summer nights.
i Legit started sobbing when the original Jubilife city theme kicked in 😭 i grew up with gen 3 but especially gen 4 so hearing jubilife reminds me of the countless hours i spent in the game not having to worry and stress over being an adult or having to pay any bills. my god i love the pokemon franchise
This game came out nearly 2 years ago but it's already bringing nostalgia... my first ever shiny was on this game. i never was able to beat the postgame...
When I first heard the early game variation of this theme, I had a theory that the song would eventually evolve to have the Jubilife Village leitmotif. Didnt know where, didnt know how, I just knew it needed to appear somewhere so there would be a clear connection to the original track. If only my lore predictions were this accurate 😂
I CRY EVERY TIME I LISTEN TO THIS SONG. I AM SO EMOTIONAL AND NOSTALGIC FOR THIS 2 YEAR OLD GAME. AND RU-vid PUTS IT IN MY QUEUE EVERYTIME I LISTEN TO MUSIC. PLEASE, I'M AT WORK 😭
This illustrates to me as a warm, sunny winter mornings with clear blue skies, indulging myself with a toasted croissant and cup of hot chocolate, while cuddling up to a blanket. #cozyvibes 💙☕️
I’ve been trying to get my Nephew to sleep, & I thought music would help so I played this & he fell asleep in a little over a minute, lol. It’s a great track, & it soothes the soul.
This theme is honestly weirdly nostalgic for me, despite only having done my first full playtrough a couple of months ago. I guess i’ve lost a lot of friends since then and gained new ones, so this theme reminds me of said previous friendships
Ah. My first game on the Switch and my first main series Pokemon game. Still stuck on those annoying wisps but beat Volo. This was an amazing journey for me.
I am no og but this is just quality music I love olden time music and this deserves a medal When I’m at home I just get this playin in me head while I do chores makes me a very happy man. This Theme Just Describes Home In Every Way.
this song feels like a warm hot drink on a cold winter evening around the fire place with blankets, it feels like home, i'm on my 2nd playthrough of legends arceus, just completing the pokedex and this track makes it all worth it god i love it so much
Pokémon: Legends Arceus is the best Pokémon game of the entire Switch generation. (And ironically, aside from Let's Go, Legends Arceus was the only one that didn't suffer from performance drops or glitches)
So this is the League club theme in Scarlet/Violet, I was wondering if this was from that game, but it turns out I'm wrong. I'm already mesmerized by its melody though
This theme makes me feel nostalgia for all the Pokemon games I've played so far, which include: • Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team (GBA) • Pokemon Sapphire (GBA) • Pokémon Emerald (GBA) • Pokémon Soul Silver (DS) • Pokémon Platinum (DS) • Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers Of Sky (DS) • Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon (3DS) • Pokemon Alpha Sapphire (3DS) • Pokemon Ultra Moon (3DS) • Pokémon Violet (Switch) • Pokémon Sword (Switch) • Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee! (Switch) • Pokémon Shining Pearl (Switch) • Pokémon Legends: Arceus (Switch) • Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX (Switch) • Pokémon Masters EX (Mobile) • Pokémon Café ReMix (Mobile) • Pokémon UNITE (Mobile) This one theme just makes me remember all the fun times I had with Pokémon, and then reminds me that it's never over. *The end of the game is never the end of the adventure.*
It’s crazy the amount of nostalgia I have for a game that I only got a year ago, but damn it’s there. I think part of it is the way it borrows from Platinum’s soundtrack, which I have over a decade’s worth of nostalgia for.
Its amazing because i didnt even notice the theme for jubilife village until i heard it at the end of the game and realised its callback to jubilife city
They did something special with Legends Arceus that I haven’t felt in a Pokémon game in years. They brought out the beauty of Sinnoh by introducing us to Hisui, a region of ages past, and made us feel even closer to the nostalgia of a place we explored as kids. It’s magical.
I got such chills when the Jubilife City music started. I literally locked up in my chair just vibing with the nostalgia. This game, while it may not be the best looking, or most polished, Pokemon Legends Arceus is the only modern game I have enjoyed in so long. Imagine that, it takes place in Sinnoh, and it's good? Woah... Almost like there's a correlation.
Wow it’s already been a year? Wow it seems like it was yesterday when I stayed up until Midnight to get into the game. To bad HeartGold/SoulSilver will ALWAYS be my favorite Pokémon game. This being 2nd along with the rest of Gen 4! I’m crossing my fingers for a Johto remake and or a Legends Celebi.
This song hits different in the beginning, i dont get what it is, but its like this meloncoly music.... Especially the setting of the mc getting dropped into a foreign world...
Hearing this makes me hope they make "Legends" game series and not a one off. Looking past gameplay issues (both had them) Scarlet and Violet were really good games. However there was something about this game that enthralled, heck stills does enthrall me at times (as I listened to this for the third time now in succession). Can have traditional remakes but if you want to give some love to previous generations Legends is the way to go.
This game is a masterpiece, story presentation and graphics of course are barebones but the rest is just the best of the best from the whole franchise.
Is not as messed up like picnics in Scarlet&Violet being the Pokémon Daycare. The place whe you eat with your pokémon and -they have an orgy to lay an egg in your basket- .
